Now I’ve heard everything, Ken… a Michelin-rated bubble tea establishment. I’ve never had bubble tea. I’m glad you liked it - especially for that price!!
Oh, you tried Chi Cha San Chen! They have a location in San Gabriel, CA, and they usually have a line of people waiting for their online orders. I tried their Lemon Condensed Milk sans boba, and it was decent. I'm sure the high pricing is due to the NYC location, but the drink and presentation look good. 🧋 Thank you for sharing, AK! 🤗
I've tried Xing Fu Tang in San Gabe and it was like 10 bucks for a small bubble tea.. LA shouldnt be that different from NY (Originally wrote Tiger Sugar by mistake, which I've only tried in Bangkok)
@@TheStarsShineForYou I went to the Xing Fu Tang in Alhambra back in Feb 2024, and got a regular size Matcha Strawberry Boba Milk for a total of $7.71. It's still costly either way, but their drinks are good.
Hi AK. It’s a nice establishment. I like the way the place is set up. I guess you have to weigh the options. Taste, price, presentation and location. The packaging was really well done. Well it was good though. Thanks Ken.👋🏽
I love Boba but It's a costly fad. I don't believe it's any better because the tea came from Taiwan, they try and convince us 🥴with the Marketing WORDS that are good sellers🥱
Costly fad? its been going strong for over 10 years here in nyc and new ones keep opening up all the time. So not really a fad. guess you are just bitter cause you live in mid of nowhere

@bernardfriedman532 You should try at least once! Try Googling "boba" also, because that's another term for "bubble". 🧋

You could get a nice meal in Taiwan for less than the cost of that tea. At least you enjoyed it in spite of the price.

Nice Actionkid. Try raising cane in flushing once they opened on 7/9/24. I love boba from Kung Fu Tea
Thanks for the review AK.
Is nine dollars typical for a drink in NYC though?
Even though something is really good, the price can put you off of it. Especially when you were paying such great prices in Taiwan.
he aint in taiwan anymore cant compare to nyc prices
For a tea that you can eat 😂
would you say it is better than xing fu tang?

I wonder how many people working in that place were trafficked thru the southern border and now forced labor
Tms
I’m sorry kid what’s the attraction?
I guess it’s the tea spot of coffee
like Starbucks okay.
Certainly is huge!lol
