It's nice to see this spot is still here. I went way back in the day, like 25 years ago, when it was known as Hong Kong Harbor. The menu looks similar, but my go-to was the Portugese chicken, beef brisket curry, and baked pork chop in tomato sauce.
Hi AK and Liz. I grew up in Toronto and my favorite two restaurants was Kwong Chow and the Sia Woo. Both in Chinatown, were grand, ornate, Imperial, dining rooms with all the finery. It was amazing.
0:32 Lizzo C cool😎Hong Kong Bistro Cafe looks nice ,and your dish 2:33 looked delicious 😋All of the ingredients on your plate looked great 🙂And your company was nice and Lizzo’s dish looked delicious too😋 6:33 😎Thank you for sharing this review with Lizzo A K🙂👍!!!
The rice and noodle dishes look steaming delicious. 😋 Nice to see Lizzo joined you for this meal, and it was neat to hear her mention the noodle dish in Cantonese! 😀 Thank you for sharing this review with Lizzo, AK! 🤗
There are many good places in Toronto. There are several mini-Chinatowns in the GTA. Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Scarborough, and Vaughan also have nice Chinese food.
In my opinion Chinese beef brisket is possibly the most underrated Chinese dish. I rank it high on my list and it’s probably the best kept secret in Asian food
Hey, AK! I went to this restaurant because of your positive review. I had the Hai Nan chicken with garlic rice and it was delicious. I'll certainly be back to try out other items on the menu. Thanks! 😊
That steaming hot brisket and radish plate looks delicious. You can't go wrong with black bean sauce ho fun too. AK would be happy to know there are a few good HK style cha chan teng in Markham. Something to look forward to on a future visit to the area.
@@ramencurry6672 funny I just saw a video a RUclipsr did recently in downtown San Jose where it was empty and no tenants in most downtown San Jose streets.
You went back to Canada. You must be in love with the blonde. Try French food next time. Take the blonde hair lady with you. Take a picture of the food and make that a Short. So you can enjoy your date with the pretty blonde hair lady.

Vancouver/Richmond, BC have one of the best Asian/Chinese/Taiwanese outside or Asia in the world. Come here
@@cdnsilverdaddy correct, I’ve been there especially Richmond.
Hi, from a taste and quality standpoint, how does NYC Chinese food compare to Toronto?
Toronto's best chinese restaurant wont be downtown, it'll be in Scarborough/Markham/Richmond Hill.
Sounds good
YOU are Super Cute!🤩
Thank you!
Torontos China Town is better than LA’s
It’s better than SF’s too
The best place for Asian food in California might be in the San Jose metro area

@@mreppen1 no, not the actual city. The metro area is what I’m talking about
@@ramencurry6672 like Santa Clara? I lived there in the early 90s. Then it was nice.
