Can you cast rice?

Hello and welcome, I had a question for google, can you cast rice in PVA glue? It did not have an answer, so I set about answering it myself.

I really wanted to try and create a maggot-esque hand using rice as my medium to sculpt in/cast with. Searched google to see if possible, google had no reply, so just gave it a go.
I got a result, not quite the result but I now have an answer, so quest successful i that regard. Did I get what I had in my head? close.
