Love it! This could be a real game changer as its not only shares the immense knowledge for the new learners but also give a chance to understand your instructor's personality too.
I loved the podcast , thanks for giving us the opportunity to get to know brian more as a person and get a summary of his amazing career, an hour passed like minutes, existed for the next ones.
Your student from north east syria
This is the first time I see your face, Marc. I can only hear your voice on FM. Thank you for creating an awesome learning platform. There's always something new to learn. Brian is the best. Love all of his workshops
Brian Holt's courses are one of the biggest reasons I recommend Frontend Masters to every dev I know
@@btholt the courses themselves are great, but the accompanying site notes really put it over the top. Super appreciated the level of detail.
I am from Angola, i received the email and came running, such great thing
Brian has so many interesting things to say, I genuinly adore his workshops at FM, as he always has some background story to explain benefits/caveats of using something. And it's awesome how Marc is able to lead this discussion in a very naturall way. You can hear that they are frriends for quite some time, yet it's still great to listen for anyone else. Looking forward for next episodes! :)
Starting my day with quality and insightful podcast. Hope to see ThePrimeagen on next podcast episode!
Amazing content 👏. I really learnt a lot. Looking forward to many more of this.
I love it ❤ Really nice to hear his career progress and other tips that are not also related to tech, like the book references and so on.
Im excited for the next ones
It was a great start. As I could actually resonate to the touch points about a developer's journey and what lies ahead. This surely gives a new perspective to look at a career.
this was great. Keep it up.
Wow !!!! Loved the talk.
Started with the best mentor I've ever known. Tank you guys for starting such great thing.
The podcast is great, thank you for sharing the story! Loved it, I look forward next episode! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
very insightful, found this very motivating.
Breaking the video down into segments on YT. So I can go forward or back to when a certain topic was discussed will be super useful.
You guys are awesome!
Thank you! 🙂
Business book for engineers: "Thinking in systems" By Donella H. Meadows · released date:2008
For real. Brian's containers course is epic. I went it to it hating Docker. Now I love the technology, and have gained a deeper understanding of Linux for that matter.
Loved this one!
Please make one with Will Sentence…. Want to know more about the execution context of his teaching journey 😅
Brian Holt is awesome!
What a cool guy. Huge inspiration❤️
Brian is numeroUno, way to end the episode dude, thanks for all the wisdom you share❤
Since I was Brian's campaign manager in 9th grade and got him elected as sophomore class president, I'd say he owes most of this success to me.
Finally :) Love it
...i would love more the black front end master background instead of the sea. front end master logo is very beautiful to not make it a full wallpaper screen, plus more aesthetic for the views eyes
What a great way to start! An incredible story from a lazy kid to a “beast” of an engineer. It’s also cute to see you two starting of the episode a bit stiff and formal but gradually relaxing and showing off your true friendship. I got so many notes out this: coffee, beers, whiskey, books, sports and other gear engineers to follow! Finally, did Sarah Drasner say yes already? ;0) cheers guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would love to see this on pocketcast
Good talk! In the future please link to resources like the systems book that was mentioned 😊
Brian is awesome! Sometimes I when I write React code I think of Brian's voice and his doggo from his FM course lmao
This is more like a interview than a podcast, it's more like a question and answer. It would be great if it's more like a conversation than a podcast.
Good start ! Keep it going !
Thanks! We will!
Great episode Marc! Waiting for the one with primeagen ..
It's coming! Very soon.

Loved the podcast. Brain is a really cool and interesting guy. I want to see Sarah Drasner here.
Agree with ThePrimeagen request but I would also ask for Jem Young! Thanks for the podcast!
The name is ThePrimeagen. +1
Glad you enjoyed it! We will definitely have to get Jem Young on.
Amazing content! You should invite midudev, although he's spanish he could probably speak fluent english for an interview!
We want scoot moss. With all his struggles and achievements throughout his life
Up next suggestions: Sarah Drasner, Jem Young, ThePrimeagean, Evan You
