Had the same issue and this was the fix! Thanks for the video! Also, someone mentioned the spark plug socket that is in the tool kit under the hood… what a lifesaver… only had to take the 1st cover off.

Thanks for the video! I used the spark plug wire to pull the spark plug out. Just popped it back on after it was loose and used it to pull it out!

I saw another video where the guy used the spark plug wrench that came with the machine...it's under hood. It takes alot of turns in and out but worked very well didn't have to take any panels off except one the covers air filter.. just food for thought your way worked

Appreciate it mine started doing the same thing randomly last weekend and started thinking it was fuel related but then on some of the stalls it sounded like spark knock. Tossing in a new set tomorrow and see what happens

Good luck. It’s a tight space under that bed but hopefully this video helps. I couldn’t find any on RUclips so I figured I’d make one And help someone out if I can. Thanks 👍🏻

@@TripleRwoods i took the whole air box off. Aside from what you disconnected theres a vent tube under the box and a mass air flow sensor and it all pops off much easier

Thank you so much 😊. Mine is running the exact same ways. Might go ten feet might be able to go fifty feet and then it just stalls. Turn the key off turn it right back on and it starts. Have not been able to figure it out.
Quite a pain to get the plugs. But i got them. We will have new plugs tomorrow. I hope this is it. 😊 I will let you know, if it fixes the problem.

Thanks for the video. How many miles were on it when this happened?

Prob around 700-750 miles. From what I’ve read the starting it and not driving very much and turning it off causes this to happen quicker.

Did you have to gap the new plugs if so do you know what it’s supposed to be ima try and put a new set in mine tomorrow it’s doing the exact same thing

No I didn’t have to gap them. Just thought what the auto parts store had and threw them on.

Thanks for the video. That was extremely helpful and seems to have resolved my problem. I do have a couple observations:
I don’t know how you got into that well with a 14mm deep socket. Mine wouldn’t fit. I did discover that Honda has placed a special spark plug removal tool in a kit under the hood. 👍
Rivets weren’t a pain in the butt. Make sure you get the right size replacements.
The plugs are crazy expensive at the dealer. They wanted $24 each. I got them from auto zone (had to special order) for $8 a piece.

You got a heck of a deal on spark plugs! Great info. Thanks.

Seems to be a common problem on these machines. Im getting ready to change mine again for the 2nd time. I read that a lot of “short” rides that dont let the engine get to full operating temperature will cause this problem on these

Man a lil pressure washing would be nice before you open up the engine.
