Great playing, touch and sound!
That Great Gretsch Sound 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful! Do you think you could do a drum tuning video one of these days? Always so musical!
We'll see what we can do :)
We just released the first tuning video of our 4-part series! Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/VzxH7VGevUU/видео.html
Hi ... is that bass drum backwards? I have never seen the Pearl mount installed the way it is on this drum professionally. I have kit that was professionally installed with the same Pearl mounting system but completely the other way? I’m just wondering. Nice playing. Of course I love those drums. I subbed ...
Great observation! I was confused about this too when I got the kit (these are my personal tubs). Upon doing more research, the few kits I've seen in original condition all have a Rogers mount installed closer to the player, so this Pearl mount is installed in the proper original location, but it is pretty strange by today's standards. A previous owner actually had modern spurs on this bass drum that effectively flipped it over to the "logical" way (mount further away from the player), but it was restored to the original configuration before I got it. I'll probably flip it over again when I have some extra $$ to give the whole kit some tlc. Thanks for the sub!
@@gabeplaysdrums ...My Gretsch drums were built for me in 1979 and the drum shop installed all the Pearl hardware. I’ll talk about it on my next Ask Earl Anything show. I have had my drums for 40+ years. I know the story about why drum shops did the customization and all the mounting systems they used. There is a reason for that hardware. Great drums!
