"It’s playing with him, Grant thought." this scene and line meant two things while the young rex was actively playing with regis it was also learning how easy humans were to kill
@@killergoose3436 Makes me think that all those shark cage “experiences” that you can do are actually a good thing. “You can’t kill these things.” -Shark
Nice portrayal of the Juvenile. Looks just like you'd expect him to. That being that they haven't grown into their head yet. Also great to show that even young carnivores are something to be wary of. People always focus on the adult when its the you that are scarier. Since more often then not they can fit inside buildings.
My only criticism is here. Juveniles would be slimmer/lighter looking. Buts hard to get that right. There's a word for how animals and dinos change as they grow. But in T-Rexs they went from light fast raptor like hunters to huge muscular creatures as they grew. But it doesn't matter that much.
Juvenile tyrannosaur did a lot of the hunting and are more scary than the adult because can move faster , me wishing people do homework before commenting 🤔
Aahhh yeah, i remeber this part of the book. When Grant and the kids see Regis and the young T-Rex at the distance in a road, and Regis tries to scares the dinosaur but it fails, just like the video. I would like more novel scenes in a future, like Arnold's death, or Grant contaminating the Velociraptor eggs, or Hammond's death, just for naming some scenes. You are awesome
Doesn't Arnold's death still happen off-screen? If I remember we do get more time with him still and even a chase scene, but his fate while almost obvious isn't confirmed still until Ellie arrives, right? 🙏
Every thing is so accurate. The leech, the sounds (especially the frog's, the sound starts and edregis thinks trex went away but again sound stops because rex is back) and the way regis shouts and beats the snout of rex. . . Kudos 👏👏👏
Thank you for making all these moments from the book that we didnt see play out on screen. If im not mistaken, Regis's death was the first character we actually got to know who was killed off rather than Gennaro. I remembered listening to the audio book and feeling really anxious about it. Amazing work!!
Aye. Novel Gennaro was actually pretty useful and very brave. He was one of the survivors who managed to make it off Isla Nublar safe and sound. Sadly, he died of dysentery before the events of The Lost World.
Ah that Juvenile T-Rex was always a pain in the ass! Super great take on this. I caught the tail end of the live but the suspense brought me back to view again!
I remember this scene been so frightening in the book, especially as Grant, watching from a distance, knows that the Juvenile is just playing with Ed Regis and that Regis has no chance of escape. Whilst Regis acted in a cowardly manner, he was a broadly sympathetic figure, just some poor guy who was out of his depth. The whole scene really captured who fragile man is when placed in nature's way. Also, great work!
Great animation. I half expected Dr. Grant and the kids to have a cameo hiding behind a tree lol. Most interestingly, the Spielberg adaptation fused Regis with Gennaro and instead of the juvenile it was the adult rex that did him in. Crichton even referenced the movie character’s toilet death by having his version of Gennaro dying from dysentery between the two novels.
@@worldzerogaming3082 Are you referring to The Lost World novel by that? Because if you are that was definitely after the release of the first movie where said death takes place.
