This is so beautiful. So touching to hear his daughter speak of him in this way. Thank you so much for uploading this, I was looking for this for a long time after seeing it on TCM.

Frank Sinatra is one of my idols (12-time Godzilla composer Akira Ifukube, former The Price is Right host/executive producer Bob Barker [who shares Sinatra’s birthday and interviewed him at the 1980 Rose Parade], House of Dark Shadows’ Jonathan Frid [Barnabas Collins on Dark Shadows], and Star Wars Skywalker Saga composer John Williams [who composed the score for Sinatra’s None But the Brave in 1965] are the others). I got into Sinatra in 2008 when Nothing But The Best was released. His music for Capitol and Reprise with Nelson Riddle, Don Costa, and Quincy Jones is music to my ears. My favorite song is Strangers in the Night (particularly the live version on Sinatra 80th: Live in Concert). My favorite Sinatra films are Anchors Aweigh, From Here To Eternity, The Man With The Golden Arm, High Society, Pal Joey, The Manchurian Candidate, and Robin & The 7 Hoods. My favorite Sinatra albums are Moonlight Sinatra, Strangers In The Night, and Ol’ Blue Eyes is Back. My father saw Sinatra 13 times between 1979-1995 and met him once. Even though I was almost two at the time of Sinatra’s death, I remember my father crying for a week. Music has not been the same since Sinatra’s death (nor have game shows since Barker’s death on August 26th 2023)
