I’ve always wondered why that is because I’ve never taken a ride on a car exterior. Most of my time has been spent on the INTERIOR. I’ve yet to ride on a fender- anywhere!

seen similar in the 90,s for less than 3 grand!!! i once bought an ex embassy stretch limo with bullet proof glass and tyres...8,000 mle 560 sel with a velour custom interior for 5,000 k they were lovely cars to drive...terrible depreciation!!! very hard to sell
I don't like the plastic on the back window. Love the star in the middle. On the jump seats. Does the main seat go up. Boy that engine is loud. They must have took out the entertainment center in the middle. So cool seeing the big phone.
i have the 300 turbo-diesel canadian version of the SE not this but have a real limousine from the 240D w114 from mid 70´s what was that?also this but 500SE as i have the 73 body also
The car is so beautiful in the outside and in the front cabin. But when you take a look at the rear cabin.. God damn. What a hell did they do it?? It doesn't look like a Mercedes, it doesn't fit to the rest of the car. Its just ugly, terrible, like someone have done it in his home garage from some recycle material.
Poky with those jump seats. Overkill with the Merc badges on the side. Too many shades of grey in the interior, naff carpet, worn upholstery and noisey aircon. No thanks.
It was new in 1989. Likely only used for a couple years before original owner replaced it. a lot of the now vintage, non-factory built-LIMO's are reduced to garbage.

Such sale of an altered Mercedes Benz would have never been permitted in Germany, perhaps only in America. To the buyer, I can only wish you many happy and sale miles of motoring, in your 560SEL Ultra Limousine; sorry, I mint to say in your 560SEL Ultra Limosine, which falls extremely short of ever being mistaken for a Mercedes Benz 600. Hopefully, only one 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SEL Ultra Limousine was ever produced. Mercedes Benz lovers that desire and can afford beyond the standard show room models, simply choose a Mercedes Benz Maybach, or seek a well-preserved original Mercedes Benz 600, these days.
This is more than a 30 yr old car. Most of the stuff is modified. Like the chrome door seals the huge merc star sign the owner must have been a somali or a Pakistani.

The stretch conversion looks good however the rear compartment is super tacky. The box, a/c ducts, switches and jump seats look rough and homemade. The side exterior Mercedes star emblems are a tad too much. They remind me of a diamond encrusted Rolex.
Well, I do have a Mercedes too..., and I like them, but this car sounds horrible, like there is no oil in it????, and those small back seats????, who can use them, 1 year olds????

Mercedes Benz had the best body design in the 70's / 80's and mid 90's . 500 SEC is MASTERPIECE .

Must be a gray market it has euro headlights, and the speedometer is in km/L not MPH, but tthe bumpers are 5mph North American version.
