The performance, ride and handlings, stellar body control even at higher speeds and hard braking, and brakes are just fantastic, and it is built like a tank. We have been using Ecosport from 7 years, almost 85,000 kms, still rock solid, cabin has zero noises. Whoever drives Ecosport in highway will instantly fell in love with this car. Yeah, Ecosport is definitely a family member. It may be selling lesser than competition but the competition need to learn a lot on driving dynamics of Ford. Cheers Faisal!

Have been an EcoSport user since 2013 and the confidence behind the wheels is impeccable ... Driving dynamics, maintenance ...it's an all round package...may not have rubbish features but it does what a compact SUV was built for.
I own a 2016 ecosport done 90k+ kms and believe me it’s still rocking and thanks to it’s built quality and superb breaking it saved me in many incidents and if I would have owned a tin can brezza than the ecosport then I’m gone...thank to Ford for its superb build quality
I have Titanium + with Dragon engine mated with an automatic gearbox. I live in Mumbai Suburb in extreme traffic condition. Mileage is 6 - 10 in city (below 20kmphr) and 12 to 14 on highway at descent speeds. I also own a Swift Petrol. The difference in city is 2-3kms and 3-4kms on highway.
Go for Ford if your priority is on safety ,Build quality , Handling and performance . Please don't compare Ford with Maruti which doesn't participate in Global/Euro safety test .

@@SoumendraBagh I have the diesel BS6...only drawback is you don’t get an automatic diesel if you want one..apart from that no real drawbacks...power is very linear and won’t push you back to the seat. Diesel is designed for the highways although city driveability is great too...I have seen people crossing 3lakh kms on the diesel engine as well with no reliability issues...

Driver feels connected with the car.. precise steering, sporty handling with flipside of stiff suspension. And with the spare tyre on the rear it offers protection as well as looks rugged! Touch screen infotainment is really smooth to operate with brilliant visibility in harsh sunlight as well.
But if I compare with older ecosport 2014 model, present car steering is not tat much engaging... U can't do the sharp cut like before bec they have soften d suspension... But still d best DRIVER'S CAR...

The main difference is we don't have the sunroof option here in the UK yet, but 6 speed manual transmission is standard, and the central infotainment is much the same, with satnav as well. One thing I really enjoyed? Seeing the beautiful scenery of your Country,it was really inspiring,thank you! I have been a Ford fan since I was 5 years old. need help!! my Ford Classic is ageing and I am looking for a replacement.. I consider myself an enthusiast and love to drive fast and throw it in corners.. I love the feeling of being low slung and connected to the road.. Ecosport is tall and Ford was generous to give me an extended test drive.. I loved the car but am not sure if I can trade-in that feeling of being real close to the car that I so appreciate when I am driving enthusiastically.. I know Classic is not that low a car but pretty low compared to Eco.. the low centre of gravity is a real nice feeling btw good job with the work, party and leisure modes!

Seven years and it's still going strong. Looks like strongly built cars like Ford, VW, Skoda and now Tata and Mahindra don't have to rely on gimmicks of update (where only outer looks are modified). Built quality, safety, driving dynamics always need to prevail over so call gimmicks of features which we rarely use in daily life.
Got the delivery of my new Ecosport Diesel on October 3 and I am happy that I chose it over Sonet. Had my first out of the city trip yesterday. Boy, it's fun to drive! Must say, it's still a worthy competitor!

Bought Ecosport last month and can say that Ford Ecosport is a benchmark. A true, tough, sporty car with top notch build and stability. Believe me, the steering feel and handling characteristics of this car is sports car territory!! Also a plus point in Ecosport SUV is 550mm water wading capacity, which many of us miss out on.

I was looking for a car in 10-12 lakhs. Ecosport and WRV were in my final lists . I ended with WRV and happy with it, Ford has moved its features like Sync 3 in top end variants which was 2 lakhs more than the top end WRV and yes WRV is giving me good milage 23+ and 30+ in highways if you drive in 60 and 25 if you drive in 80s.
Yes it is a great deal, others competitors are also in market but EcoSport has different aura in 4 meter subcompact. I also tried to reviews some of the Indian cars from my own channel "Insideout"
petrol has paddle shift.. a diesel automatic with paddle shift would have been a runaway hit.. plus slightly more width inside and outside.. ventilated seats and maybe a panoramic sunroof.. wow.. wishful thinking.. but that's all it needs to be the best car (it already is) in not just this segment but even 1-2 above pondering further.. the engine is great but having 130 bhp and 250-300 NM torque should not hurt!
This is a car which you can take anywhere. You don't need to plan or check your route for it. I have done some high mountains in sikkim to long highways. Ecosport does what a car is expected to do - Drive well! And for bringing the side window down - I press a knob, and not speak! NVH levels maintained ;)
Ford should release the awd version. With duster awd gone and thar doing good numbers, they can surely gain some traction. They offer awd in US and surely there is no R&D cost involved here
I have ecosport b6 Diesel S 2020, it has everything which I can think of and not just rivals but even cars uptil 20lakh doesn't offer what Ecosport gives in the package. Sad ford left sales in India but no one can beat this beast.

At times I wonder if exosport reviews are paid... The other day I took it's test drive n the hard suspension gave me feel of an urban tractor... Urban high speed tractor with queaking doors. I drove it for 20mins and it's rough road vibrations were pain in the ass...!!!

Should have been loaded with EBA ESC TCS & HHA as Standard from the base model as Ford's USP for extra care for owners Safety. Ford must push back the rear seat by 75-100mm for extra legroom comfort OR a sliding Rear Seat which might also improve Ingress-Egress. Yes it would be at the expense of reduction of boot space flexibility might add an option for compromise between the 2. For sure if its aggressively priced it might improve the Sales nos. easily as a VFM option against competition.

Booked Ecosport Automatic Petrol, do you guys feel an Automatic can pass the steep trek too like Leh Manali highway. Treks with bolders n rubbles? Please suggest, I am only worried about this situation with automatic and the research brought me to this video
I was looking for a car in 10-12 lakhs. Ecosport and WRV were in my final lists . I ended with WRV and happy with it, Ford has moved its features like Sync 3 in top end variants which was 2 lakhs more than the top end WRV and yes WRV is giving me good milage 23+ and 30+ in highways if you drive in 60 and 25 if you drive in 80s.
Yes it is a great deal, others competitors are also in market but EcoSport has different aura in 4 meter subcompact. I also tried to reviews some of the Indian cars from my own channel "Insideout"

petrol has paddle shift.. a diesel automatic with paddle shift would have been a runaway hit.. plus slightly more width inside and outside.. ventilated seats and maybe a panoramic sunroof.. wow.. wishful thinking.. but that's all it needs to be the best car (it already is) in not just this segment but even 1-2 above
pondering further.. the engine is great but having 130 bhp and 250-300 NM torque should not hurt!
This is a car which you can take anywhere. You don't need to plan or check your route for it. I have done some high mountains in sikkim to long highways. Ecosport does what a car is expected to do - Drive well!
And for bringing the side window down - I press a knob, and not speak! NVH levels maintained ;)
Ford should release the awd version. With duster awd gone and thar doing good numbers, they can surely gain some traction. They offer awd in US and surely there is no R&D cost involved here

I have polo and ecosports n ecosport’s clutch is way more smooth but still no issue in city driving in both the cars..

I have ecosport b6 Diesel S 2020, it has everything which I can think of and not just rivals but even cars uptil 20lakh doesn't offer what Ecosport gives in the package. Sad ford left sales in India but no one can beat this beast.

our family is also having the ford ecosport since 2016, after 4 years i will say its a awesome car for a youngster and who loves to drive, i have no issue on this car except the mileage but overall its a great pakage still the best in the segment

At times I wonder if exosport reviews are paid... The other day I took it's test drive n the hard suspension gave me feel of an urban tractor... Urban high speed tractor with queaking doors. I drove it for 20mins and it's rough road vibrations were pain in the ass...!!!

Should have been loaded with EBA ESC TCS & HHA as Standard from the base model as Ford's USP for extra care for owners Safety.
Ford must push back the rear seat by 75-100mm for extra legroom comfort OR a sliding Rear Seat which might also improve Ingress-Egress. Yes it would be at the expense of reduction of boot space flexibility might add an option for compromise between the 2.
For sure if its aggressively priced it might improve the Sales nos. easily as a VFM option against competition.
