This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I have a house in Bansko and have been going there for 20 years and go for a few months of the year, my one tip for you is that if you go during half term, make sure you get up early for the gondola otherwise you’ll be Queing for hours
@@tonyg3091 Yh our friend does shuttle services to take us up the mountain. But if you for some reason are unable to get a shuttle, then make sure you get up early for the gondola 🙂
greynolds no worries!! Have a awesome time! Another little add on... there are some places to eat and drink on the ski road home! Great to stop off there and a little cheaper than up the mountain! Only take cash though!
Thank Grace! Glad you enjoyed it! I actually got back from the Alpes last week! I would say the Alpes is generally a lot colder because you're higher up! I normally skied in a t-shirt and think jacket in Bansko! Hope that helps! Have the best time!
Hey man! Appreciate that! It was called Log house! Gets very busy so i would advise booking. With regards to the gondola most people queue to the left facing the mountain, we always found it faster on the right side! Failing that you could always jump in a taxi to the top!
Nice vlog fella. Just looking at options between Bansko and Borovets for winter 2022. Bansko looks pretty class! On average how long did that first gondola queue take and what time you reckon to get there for if you cant be arsed queuing and you hate early mornings :D ?
Hey dude! Thanks for checking it out! Bansko is a great all round holiday and we absolutely love it! I think it depends when in the season you go! If you go during half term it’s a lot busier at the gondala! we always got there for around 10 and the queue was always 15-30 mins, it was never enough to put me off. Hope that helps.
Hi just booked to go to Bansko in December 21. Just wondering what is the restaurant your eating in with the filled bread is called? Just planning. Might be a little early.... Thanks. Loved the vlog
Nice video matey, me and my buddy are looking to visit this Easter but we've heard some negative stuff on the nightlife being dodgy etc, what are your thoughts on that?
Hey mate! appreciate you watching! We absolutely loved it! I've been to Bansko 3 times and the night lift is great. Restaurants, bars or clubs! whatever suits your needs!
Hey! We got the lift pass from the gondola! Then we used a boot & ski hire place next to Jacks house! They were brilliant and the boots were warm and dry every morning. (About 100m from gondola) Lessons can be organised at the gondola or top of the mountain. Hope that helps
Hey dude! Can’t remember exact cost now but I know it was super cheap! Flight transfers & accommodations was about £200 of the week lift pass, skis and boots about £150 then spending money totally up to you! Down in the town everything is super cheap!
Andrew Hellyer we did see lots of taxis! We just went for a drink and let the queue die down! On average it was probably only 20/30 minutes to be honest!

Ahh! Thanks so much for the support!! It’s a lovely location! Hopefully I will have another skiing video out this year 😍
I went to Bansko in 2016! This vid gave me serious nostalgia
Such a great place! Glad you came across the video 🙌🏻
I have been going to bansko with my family since I was one years old and this video makes me miss it so much because I couldn’t go because of COVID
Ahh man! It’s such a awesome place isn’t it! Not skiing for me this year too but hopefully next year 🤞🏻 Thanks for checking out the video !

Ahh thats awesome! So lucky to be able to do that!! Yes totally agree.
Better still-avoid the gondola altogether. Most hotels offer shuttle service and using it is more than advisable :):)

Loved the vlog, we’re going next week and gave us lots of ideas! How cold was it when you guys were there? Colder than the alpes would you say?

Wicked video cheers for that. What's the name of the food place 4.03 onwards? Any tips for avoiding Gondola queue...timings etc? Cheers

Book a hotel that offers a shuttle service to the skiing area. Gondola is best avoided.
Tony G great idea! Lots of hotels do that too!
@@tonyg3091 that sounds interesting! Will deffo look that up!

Hey!! How exciting! You’ll have a awesome time! It was called the Log house! Right in the centre of Bansko by the gondola! Hope that helps 😁
Thanks so much. We are going to learn to snowboard for a few days. We are buying some snowfeet which look like great fun. Can't wait👍🏻👍🏻
Mark Cooper sounds awesome! Have fun!!

don't waste 1-2hours queing for the gondola "skiing time is precious", grab a cab upto the top, its about £15
Andrew Hellyer we did see lots of taxis! We just went for a drink and let the queue die down! On average it was probably only 20/30 minutes to be honest!
You could use the free shuttle buses as well definitely faster and you have to wait for like 5 mins tops
You got scammed real bad most of the the taxis are 5-10 leva (2.50-5 euros)
