Hey Gab, if you go to the carrot patch above the ranch you can copy a carrot and place one infront of you, it will then call your horse to the location, you're at. I just completed my game few days ago. Loving this series. 😎👍🏼
I understand why Gab might feel a bit disappointed with the fact that Zelda can only fight while being in "Link form" but at the same time I think it makes sense. The game is called echoes of wisdom because that's the part Zelda has of the Triforce, she's using her powers to defeat evil, just like she always does, just here is a bit different. She borrows Link's courage to fight when she needs it but she's the princess after all, she's not the master of the sword and she never was. I can understand people who wanted a full on Zelda game where Zelda can be a fighter but it goes against the lore of the franchise. Just my opinion of course I can be wrong
I agree with your interpretation, but I also think that you could interpret the triforce of wisdom in many ways. I agree that it wouldn't befit Zelda to be a burly, armored fighter, but you could have her use a rapier or some other type of nimble thrusting weapon and explain that the triforce of wisdom helps her to know where to hit for maximum damage, when to dodge attacks, etc. This game is about Zelda having to rise beyond just being that princess and becoming a hero for her people. It's a nice callback to have her draw upon link's power for combat, but I think it would have been perfectly valid to have her develop and hone her own skills over the course of the game as she rises to each challenge.
Dont forget the Shiekah, and Zelda's identity in Ocarina of Time, Shiek. Saying that in some timelines Zelda knows how to fight in some way. but i can see in this timeline she was not taught the ways of the Shiekah.

Hey Gab, there is a side quest tied to the shipwreck that you did at the end. You might want to speak to an old man at the dock area in Seesyde village.
You can use those monster parts (the monster guts and monster fangs) to make potions with effects that last way longer than smoothies, up to a whopping 5 minutes. I recommend making a few warming potions with the monster fangs and warm peppers before doing the snow area
some tips: some monsters you can pick up with bind. either to hold them still for your echos to attack, or move them to drop them into a hole/water/lava. that's how i defeated that screamer redead you were squishing with the platboom and crows only go after rupees. i have found that they can't pick up some static/placed rupees tho, but i think it's a bug cuz it's only some it didn't work on
This has been such a fun play-through - if you ever encounter the electric balls or fart clouds again, you can change their direction by grabbing them with Tri (x). It doesn’t actually grab them, just changes direction. Hope that helps!
It might've been mentioned before, but you can get more outfits by completing quests. The quests are given by returning to locations you've saved (may have to complete a couple of dungeons also IDK). The silk pajamas, for example, increase the speed in which you recover hearts while sleeping in a bed. Really enjoying this series btw! One other question...do you plan to do a let's play of FF7 Rebirth? I know it'll be a long one, but I'd love to watch it.
Hey Gab, you absolutely need to do the katana, it's give something mega useful for your fight and since you have a bow you can complete the challenges easily! ALSO The golden fan music box are to create something very powerful too you need to get all of these items!🎉
Hey gab you know you can just jump on the tile and ride it, you don’t have to use the bind. Also you can glide with your normal bats which might be easier than the crows

Hey Gab, a little helpful thing you don't seem to have realized yet, Tri's little tail lets you know at a quick glance how many echoes you have available at any time. If you have 5 total and you create an echo that costs 2 for example, you'll see his tail "loses" triangles, and when they die the tail regains those triangles. That's helpful mid-battles to know how many of your guys are still alive when you might not be able to see them/are too busy trying to stay alive, but just in general too.
I've been playing the Oracle of Ages and Seasons games recently on Ninty Online and Smog's actually a boss from Ages! (He's a pain in the butt there too) Also god watching the lizalfos try to fight the spear moblins was something- it really shows how dumb their programming is since they were just constantly jumping off things backwards when going to attack and dodge 😆 Peahat will always be number one in my book, that thing is just overpowered against a lot of enemies with it's attack speed.

Not sure if it's been done yet as I'm watching and catching up, but those orange monsters that crash down on you in some side stroller dungeons, use tri to hold them in place and have one of your monsters attack it. Once you save it, it's very useful for getting up high❤
gab you should play fields of mistria! i’ve been obsessed with it recently. it’s a lot like stardew and harvest moon AND the character designs are sailor moon inspired! it’s such a cute game. btw it is early access but you can get a lot of hours on it still. ❤️❤️
it makes sense for zelda to not just be able to directly use link's skills, it might as well be a reskinned link game if that were the case, though i admit, it would be nice if zelda has some kind of default attack that she has access to at all times. also, you already have your own bomb
Wouldn't it be great if the game had a built in system where everytime you load in, 3 rifts spawn somewhere on the map. There should be a certain number, in this case three, but it would allow the player to keep building exp for Tri

23:00 can't you just jump over the rocks instead of using tri to move them? you have the item to jump higher and the rocks look the same height as the ledges you're jumping onto
Gab i know you already beat it but if you would have used bind you could have beaten the boss easier by pulling on the green orb around his neck. Also i feel your pain each time you misclicked and went to sword fighter form 😂

Just a confused question from someone not playing the game myself. Why do you not use the sword/bow in the rifts more? There is blue energy to refill your bar floating all around. And you get some from defeating the enemies, if I saw correctly.

3rd attempt to finish this video but it's nearly done now. noticed that in the cat costume when you spin to cut grass your pony tail goes out straight. looks like you're cutting the grass with your hair. lol
im waiting for my birthday to get the game but overall the only complain i have is how bad the menu for the echoes is... like cant they add favourite or something? scrolling through all that looks tiring but im still excited for the game either way
Hey Gab! I've finally started watching the playthrough :3 I figured you were far along enough for me to at least watch the first video without spoilers. I just did the quest for the two Zora tribes and fought Lord Jabu-Jabu and I think you've done that already too. Did you pick the Chompfin monster echo yet? He's really good against swimming enemies. He's hanging around an abandoned ship somewhere in the sea part of Jabul Waters, if you haven't :D I'm not sure if you recall my last comment on the last video, but I still haven't figured out a way of unearthing the half-buried chests - I'm worried I've missed an optional area or something.
I won't give you a direct clue (unless you want one?), but if you're at that point in the game then you definitely haven't missed an area that will help you unearth those chests.

You can use Ghirros to fly around! If you pick one up, it will blow you backwards!
There are soooooo many echos she never even tries! In this episode she killed a shark with 20 spike-balls lol!

All 5 cost echoes are just the best, I had every one except one (i think there are 6), before I had 5 energy.

I discovered that you can use bind on that boss during the time trial boss rush. I felt quite dumb after that.

It looks like there is a platform under the statue thing where the gorons are. Maybe try putting boulders or something heavy on top of it?

Cuccos might work better for gliding since they won't try to fly away on you like the crows. 🤔
You can't make an echo of a cucco, though... unless I've somehow missed out on that?
I tend to use a needlefly for gliding.
