    How about a 13 year old girl first time rider on the 90? What’s your thoughts ?

    Had a Kfx 90 and my buddy an outlaw 90. The outlaw had a couple problems but it was already used. Don’t really know how reliable they were because it was my buddy’s. The Kfx was bought brand new back in 2015 and it still runs. Kfx has been rolled and abused. The rear plastic was cut off by a wire. I rode this thing every single weekend. I weigh around that 160-170 lb range now and I still have fun on it. In terms of speed, the Kfx is faster. The Kfx is also lighter but it does not have reverse like the outlaw. Because of how reliable the 90 was, I got a kfx450r. Looking to find an outlaw 525 irs but they are rare now. Anyways I think the Kfx 90 is far better than the outlaw 90 but this is just my opinion.

    I just came across this video I have a 6 almost 7 year old and I just bought her the new Polaris 70 that replaced the 50 and 90’s. The frame is between the 50 and 110 so she shouldn’t outgrow it as quick... hopefully great comparison video!

      Wow! I didn't know they came out with a 70. I need to go to a dealer and check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

    the bad thing is that most 50cc models have such a slow geared down speed, but are good size for little kids, most don't make something like "80s" anymore, like an old suzuki 80 is barely larger than the 50, but an adult can easily ride it like a gorilla lol, but it still does like 20-25mph.

    • @TheSwampStalker
      @TheSwampStalker  4 года назад

      That's a fact. The Polaris 50 was a awesome little bike when my daughter was 3 and 4 years old, but man was it small, and slow. My 5 year old son still loves his KFX50. It is slow, but he is kind of a dare devil so it might be for the best. My daughter tears it up on her Outlaw 90.

    Super helpful video. The KFX50 has the spacer ring out and throttle screw wide open? KFX50 and KFX90 are on the same body/frame so wondering the purpose of the 50 if you can throttle back the 90 as much as you want. How does the 50 going up hills?

    • @TheSwampStalker
      @TheSwampStalker  5 лет назад

      I believe they had to make a 50 for rider age restriction reasons. If I am not mistaken there are laws about minimum ages for different engine sizes. But you are 100% right. If you can find a 90 that would be the way to go.

      Oh, and I live in South Mississippi so we don't have big hills really, but my back yard slopes up and that 50 will take right off up that slope with me on it. Lots of torque.

      I typically find the best deals on the facebook market place. But good deals go quick so you have to get lucky and see it right after it is posted.

    I'm wondering if my 12 yr old daughter should start out on the 110, she doesn't have much experience on 4 wheelers. I have a 570 SP Sportsman that's got way too much power for her to ride alone. The only problem I see is she might be too big for the 110 and if not will definitely grow out of it very soon...what do think?

    • @TheSwampStalker
      @TheSwampStalker  5 лет назад

      If it were me I would look at something along the lines of a Honda recon 250, or a Kawasaki 300. A 12 year old will outgrow the 110 pretty quick. The only drawback is the lack of a throttle control but I am sure they have ways of adding a governor. Just my opinion.

    We bought our 4 year old a 125cc coolster atv. Our problem is with it governed down to a speed I am comfortable with him going it won’t take off. You have to push it to get it going. If I open it up a little for it to
    Take off on its own then once he gets going it’s way to fast. I was looking at the razor 24v or 500. Just not sure what we should get that is safe for a kid who still gets easily distracted, I want something faster than his 12v John deer but not so fast that if he take a turn to sharp he isn’t flipping off. Ideas?

      TheSwampStalker my husband is a diesel mechanic he would be able to. So doing that would make it where we could slow it down but still have enough get up and go?
      Size is perfect for him just not the speed lol. He’s a bit immature for his age so I don’t trust him that fast to always make the best decisions and pay attention. He will do great for a week and then do something crazy like look at his sister behind him while driving forward. 🙄🤔

    I'm looking at the 90cc for my 3 year old. the seat height is only .5 inche difference on the 90cc from the 50cc? acceleration would be the big difference I think.
    how old is your son in this video?
    do you think the 90cc is ok for a 3 year old?
