Fantastic vlog as usual. I'm off to Chessington on Saturday to try and face my phobia of rides
We were there Friday in Oct and again many rides out of action at the start - Vampire, Tiger Rock, Scorpion (out for the season) and Cobra however all but Scorpion open by end of day, Charlotte would hate the little log flume you get soaked way more than tiger rock and any other log flume that I've been on in the UK (including the old Thorpe park and Alton Towers versions

Nice to see you having a lovely time with your mum and dad. Shame some of the rides were closed or waiting to reopen later in the day. It was good to see The Vampire coaster again. When I was last at Chessington probably twenty years ago, I recall having loads of re-rides on there as the park was quiet. Although I do remember going there on a busy bank holiday and the queues were two hours, never again. Some nice family rides at the park. Nice vlog Shawn and Charlotte👌

Vampire is a great upgrade Rollercoaster from the mini ones to the more thrilling ones. Nice and smooth, my son first went on this one when only 7 years old.
I saw a mouse in the vampire queue it was so adorable .

Another great family vlog. Its great to see Croc Drop fully rotating again. I was going to pop to Towers this week but not sure now as school trips are taking over the parks!

Can’t understand how you can get so excited about rides & parks in the UK that you go to 7-8 times a year if not more and without POVs it’s just old and by the way your Turkey trip was brilliant

Chessington is such a special place to me, it was while away for the weekend at last years Howl'o'ween that me and my partner conceived our little girl, and as soon as she is old enough to be taking to theme parks. It will be the first one that we take her too.

I went to chessington about 3 months ago. I chickened out of going on the vampire. But my fav ride was for sure the gruffalo, ik it’s a baby ride but it was so fun with my friends, it was so fun, smelt AMAZING (I love the smell of chlorine) and was so calming especially cuz I got soaked and it was a 30 degree something day

You got to do a vlog at Drayton Manor with your parents. Drayton's a great family park👍
Rode Tidal Wave at TP yesterday (1st time @ TP). I've seen your videos of it before but I don't think it does it justice. Front row 1st time (got soaked - understatement), got the last ride of the day as well for my 2nd, back row, and MY GOD, that ride gets you insanely wet. That's a proper water ride 🤣

I found it funny that the yellow and green boats on sea storm now turns backwards first at 25:24 and blue and red now last at 25:52

I went to Chessington the other day I went on my first spinning coaster (dragons fury) I loved it so much my favourite ride in the park but when I went on vampire I loved the ride but it was rough I was also lucky enough to get on tiger rock!

Shaun you should go on a yorkshire trip when you visit flamingo land and visit, flamingo land, yorkshire wildlife park, and calypso cove water park. Yorkshire wildlife park is one of the U.K.’s best zoos

Cheers for filming, sharing and uploading Yours, Charlottes and your parents experience of Chessington WOA. Good to see Chessington's loads of new rides, attractions. About Vampire Ride as much as I love it, I think its time for a new development there, would love to see maybe update on Vampire theme with new effects, maybe a preshow added and new trains like you stated. Would love to see track repainted into like you stated Purple track & Black supports, would be different to see. Did suggest on Twitter maybe if possible Vampire being relocated to another part of park maybe where Tiger Falls is, have it have its own themed zone again with updated effects, new station and maybe new elements added? Make way for a new coaster in its current position? Maybe a GCI Wooden Rollercoaster? Or RMC Hybrid Coaster for Chessington WOA? Cater for thrill seekers aswell families? This is what I would like to see happen, with maybe a new & brand new water chute ride reimagined? Inside a new land? Would like to see all if not some of these happen, But I guess all we can do for now is wait & see what happens? Who knows? Might happen? But cheers again for sharing this video, look forward to seeing more videos like this in future. 😀👍

Thinking about your reference to being at the front of the mine train at Alton Towers. As Ride Access pass holders the front is normally reserved to ensure ease of access etc and safety.
The Ride Access systems of Merlin parks are very interesting if you ever considered a blog.

Going on this Saturday and a bit nervous to as I went on a log flume when I was younger at brean and as the boat hit the water on the big drop I hit my face on the padding infront and it hurt quite a bit though I broke my nose... and I've never been on one since so wondering if tiger rock has any restraints on it like seatbelts instead of holding onto a bar on the side
Great to see they have added a Safari truck meet and greet the larger animals. Like you say, very similar to the one at Disneys Animal Kingdom Orlando. AND these two you do not have to pay a extra fee....Unlike Busch Gardens Tampa Florida, yes, their you have to pay extra to do their Safari truck ride.
@@blank3078 yes, you do have that plus the cable swing chairs. But the Safari trucks feel more initimate closer. example...1st time went on the Animal Kingdom one....instead of it being about a 15 minute ride, it turned into 30 mins for 3 truckloads including our truck, due to 3 Rhinos were blocking our way and one in particular was right beside us.....great experience. Admittedly probably never be better than West Midlands Safari Park for animal interaction intimacy...i.e..lots roaming freely around your car....and if lucky you can feed the Giraffes on occaisions, as well as other small animals.
