Why not the use of a grid? the chest is a large > 10 inches organ to be X-rayed, please explain why it is "not required" to use the Grid? thank you.

In the decubitus projection of the chest, we do not use the grid because it is necessary for the X-ray cassette to be in touch with the affected side organ of the chest.
We can use vertical bucky in PA projection and AP projection of chest.
