I remember the first time I came to this moon, I sat on the edge of the aethercrystal platform, looking up at the stars and wonders around me. This song made me feel so much sorrow, and seeing how barren and empty the surroundings were only magnified it. This game has such a masterful way of storytelling, emotion, and atmosphere.
I wish there was more of a reason to return to this zone after the Quests were completed. The theme fits so well with the environment. Got some massive feels when I first ran through.
fun fact, mare lamnetorum translates to "sea of lament" from latin so thats pretty fitting honestly given what was up there..just wish the story didnt rush through garlemald and thavinar and sharylan to get us there. like you can honestly tell the moon was the goal cause it genuinely slows the pace for a while after beating zodiark

I just wish you could revert the zone to having ole grouchy stuck in the center again.
IMO: the PERFECT song that encapsulates that feeling when you don’t remember something and then it slowly … comes back to you … but by bit…
