This is why I always tell my mum don't get too excited before we are a centimeter away from the ground because anything can go wrong just like the turbulence before you landed.
Low level wind shear can be a bitch
DFW is well known for it though
The sound of those flaps never gets old
My first plane ride was on an American 737-800 back in July of 2014. The current livery was only a year old at the time, so the plane looked fresh with it’s new paint job. Luckily on the flight back home I got to fly on one with the old AA livery. Which looking back I feel very lucky, because 10 year old me didn’t think about how rare that livery would become.
Man, I don't know how close it was to a wingtip strike on the other side.. had to be very close. What a great save in the flare...power.. one... wheel... at a time.
The wind shear conditions started as they descended through 3K feet or so, they knew to expect surprises
Love Burbank airport, it does feel cramped inside but the airport definitely is convenient to where my family lives in LA, but it has charm.
Wow, did anyone notice the left wing dipping at the last minute before landing? Guess crew are trained well to handle last minute surprises just like this. Brilliant video mate, Thx!
Was really surprised we didn't do a go-around, but I guess they had it handled haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
That pilot caught that wing pretty well
Yea it scared me lol
Better than the United pilot😅
A bit of a downdraft before touchdown.....😆
Love the accurate high sound quality of the plane taking off, love it! It feels like your in the plane in person!❤
Burbank is a favorite airport of mine. Quiet and convenient. Beats the traffic and lines at LAX any day 😁
Stunning sunrise with great camera work! Thank you for sharing this 🙂
The lighting at sunrise is really good 👍 bro.
The image quality on this video is amazing, absolutely perfect. Congratulations and thanks. Beautiful landing with winds.
I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend!
I love the take off into the sun rise very nice, you always do a great job, it feels like I am in the plane my self with the sound, well done my friend.
Glad you enjoy it!
I just found this different style channel. It's beautiful.Thank you.
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one , as my instructor used to say after those bouncers - the towers gonna charge us for 2 landing fees
Beautiful scenery prior and during take off. Greatly captured!
Awesome , Thanks Skylite 😊
Sweet flight video man! Loved the takeoff out of Burbank! 😁✈️
Thank you for visiting Dallas Fort Worth ❤😊
What a magnificent departure! I can't wait to see the rest!!!! :) Damn flying into and out of Burbank is not for children!
Wow... beautiful sunrise at takeoff. I've never been to BUR - or Burbank for that matter. My GF has though. In fact, I booked her flight to that airport back in 2005. Good views of the SW desert. That snack looked like a one-way ticket to Type 2 diabetes.
Your plane must have had a strong side wind when landing. Anyhow, I need to rest up from the 2 hour jet lag. :)
Love your content keep it up ✈️✈️
War ein sehr schöner Flug. Danke fürs Mitnehmen😀
Was a very nice flight. Thanks for the take away 😀
Bitter.
@@sharoncassell5273 Drück Dich mal ein bißchen genauer aus. Was ist Bitter?
Wow, this will be an awesome one!
Gotta love Burbank airport.
I love Turbulence!!! such a thrill!!
That's a good one!!!
This is super weird because I have flown this exact route just two weeks ago. It was at the exact same gate too
Déjà vu? haha
What a cool touch down!😎I think it was a wind shesr, right?
Yes, definitely had some low level wind shear on that day, including right before touchdown. Thanks for watching my friend! It's much appreciated!
Great fly! When will you fly internationally this year?
Right now I don’t have any international flights planned until May. But that’s mainly because I only have most of my flights booked through the beginning of March and so far all the flights I’ve wanted to feature have been domestic.
Ого, какая длинная рулёжка после посадки, минут 15 ехали.
That's DFW for you. Third largest airport in the world and bigger than island of Manhattan.
Were you guys light? I've never seen a 73 landing at Flaps 15 lol
Flaps 15 is not uncommon for B737 in wind shear conditions. Gusty winds increase the likelihood of overstressing the flaps at 20 or 30
I think the flight was pretty much full if I remember. Thanks for watching!
@@haroldlipschitz9301 Thanks, you always learn something new lol
2:34:09 Sounds like at least one person may have to change their underwear...ha ha. ;)
I landed at DFW. A huge airport. Maybe larger than JFK? Where I usually depart from.
DFW is larger than JFK yes. DFW is the third largest airport in the world, and is larger than the entire island of Manhattan. Denver and an airport in Saudi Arabia are the only ones larger.
Thanks. I thought so.
What runway was this landed on?
was there a little bit of turbulance at 2:34:08 ?
Low level wind shear
Yeah a downdraft or wind shear. Definitely something the pilots weren’t expecting.
@@sla31 9 times out of 10 the LLWS sensors will provide a warning to ATC, who then issue wind shear cautions to arriving and departing crews. They were basically ready for it, hence the quick recovery
@@haroldlipschitz9301 I understand how that all works. I didn't mean they weren't expecting it at all. Just that, even with sensors, pireps and ATC reports, it's still something that can hit unexpectedly.
@@sla31 I see, no worries. In this medium sometimes things come across as absolutist even if that wasn't intent...or I just read too tersely ;)
