I lived as a teen in the 60s, and while I appreciate the optimism and energy of Harris/Walz, this is not the feeling of my 1960s. We believed we were living in the age of Aquarius, and there was love and good things to share for everyone, and peace. A teenager's dream, but we really felt it to be true.
Now it's a different time, and yes, we can't (not just won't) go back. Forward, with the Dems, but never tell me, who lived through it, that that time is back. It was a magical, innocent, idealistic time, not so easy to repeat at will.
