It's clear why Shapiro was a finalist in the VP sweepstakes, and why the right-wing media was scared enough of him to start emphasizing his more controversial aspects in advance, in hopes of undermining her likely choice. Governor Walz is definitely the right fit for this year and looks to be a great partner for Harris in governing, but it's also easy to see that this speech could be the equivalent of Obama's 2004 address at the DNC, before becoming president one day.

A predatory towing company essentially kidnapped my car. When Shapiro was PA Attorney General, he recovered and returned the funds for all of us who were ripped off in this way - and he didn't take the credit. The agent who helped me told me it was all Shapiro's doing, but he stepped back and let the investigators get all of the kudos.

A predatory towing company essentially kidnapped my car. When Shapiro was PA Attorney General, he recovered and returned the funds for all of us who were ripped off in this way - and he didn't take the credit. The agent who helped me told me it was all Shapiro's doing, but he stepped back and let the investigators get all of the kudos.
