I love airports. I mean, I love the experience of watching people walking, trying to catch their flights, sounds of their footsteps, those flight announcements. I can just go to airports and sit there and soak in the ambience. Sounds strange. But I find it calming. Thank you for posting this.
I see people calling it "calming" and "relaxing" and I want to agree, but at the same time to me it feels like there's electricity in the air. Something about being alert and focused. Like stress but in a positive sense. Awareness.
Yeah..I think I agree with that too. All the physical noise around you somehow heightens your sense of awareness and brings you into a much calmer zone.
I've been obsessed with airports since I was a kid. I miss being at airports almost as much as I miss traveling. This has made quarantine a little easier :).
It's the feeling runners get when they step into the starting blocks. For me it's about being aware, awake, focused. Everything around you is organized and orchestrated, nothing happens by chance and yet, all of that is fragile and a little thing going wrong can mean a huge delay and trouble. Fascinating to wander around inbetween all that and to just soak in all that is happening around you.
Sometimes I do have that question why do you have to be in a hurry why is so busy why is uncomfortable to be there sometimes it’s it makes me have a Lotta questions sometimes to
I love airports. I used to travel a lot as a kid, and going to an airport is almost nostalgic. I love how cold it is, the conversation of other people, and being able to finally get on the plane, rest your head against the window, and relax.
This may sound weird but I’ve thought about driving to the nearest airport and just sitting in the terminal with a book. Being peaceful and watching the activity.
I actually googled airport noise cause I needed to make a phone call from "an airport". Thank you sir. Message to all. Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what u see with your own eyes.
I have a weird obsession with airports. Every year I visit my family in Mexico with my mom and I love going to the airport early in the morning like at around 5 am. Unfortunately I couldn't go this year or last year :( I love the smell of the dunkin donuts shop, watching the sunrise, going into that one lonely expensive perfume shop every airport seems to have, getting to eat the yummy snacks my mom almost never buys, drawing while I'm waiting for the plane to come, etc. Idk what it is about airports but they just hit different lol
100% bruhhhh that's exactly how it feels. and the misty fog in the early morning and that sensation of adventure is impeccable. hopefully u get to experience this again soon!! cheers
Same. I love the feeling of packing the day before, going to sleep early excited for what's to come tomorrow, getting up at 4 AM, tired out of your mind but staying awake because of the adrenaline. Watching the scenery on the long drive. Then you arrive, get some food, and just relax and use my laptop while waiting for my flight to come. I'm going on vacation to visit my family in Poland soon and I can't wait.
Very evocative sounds. I'll never forget my first airport experience. Moving from New York to Switzerland at age three because Dad got transferred at his job (we returned to the USA three years later). The airport seemed like a world unto itself. The smell alone was unique and strange but somehow exciting. And of course the amazing din of sounds.
As if I was waiting for my flight. I can almost smell the cigarettes, coffee, colognes and candy shops. I'm calm and I feel like I can concentrate now. Thank you.
This is soooo relaxing to me, I love going to the airport, and going on planes, and now I've been on a lot of planes, and each one is just as fun as every other plane.
THIS IS THE BEST because it has the announcements which makes it feel heaps real! please make more !! I loveeee airport & airplane cabin ambience, they make me feel so happy !!!

I remember as a kid i used to be amazed and jump on the conveyor belts, found the peacefulness of the airports extremely relaxing, loved the shops and all the food there. Now I look back at those days. I feel so old.
İ don't know why but i love this noise. Airplane sounds making me happy. Or terminal or people's sounds from far away. İt's giving like I'm alive and i love my life. İ don't feel alone. İ don't feel sad. Just i feel free and peaceful, hopefull. That's why i want to work in airport. İ hope i can do it. 🙏🏻
I used to think that airport is one of my most favourite place in the world...the feeling of excitement when travelling... the smell of coffee...the cold asf waiting area...donut...everything
I looove this sound! The best part is the nostalgic coffee smell and the variety of food smells. Not to mention the sound of powerful jet aircraft rumbling down the runway for takeoff or during a landing
I don’t like flying but being in an airport is fucking sick. Waking up at like 4am to catch a flight that’s at 7am and then landing and chilling for layovers fucking around getting coffee or snacks just chilling on the phone and laptop listening to and looking at people of all different types of ethnicities and energies is beautiful
Very peaceful and restful, thank you for sharing. It reminds me of a lot of time spent in Dulles and the old Pan Am/Delta terminal at JFK and the excitement of a journey just about to begin.
I love these sounds, and miss being in the US too.... I love the distant fellowship in airports and malls. Just stay there. Just be there. Melted into the busy environment....
I’ve been stuck here too like Tom Hanks in The Terminal. I’ve rebuilt an entire gate area, fountain, polished the floors and gathered all of the luggage trolleys too. So far I’ve made $150 in returns.
Thanks, this was exactly what I needed. the only thing missing was a boarding call for a South Africa flight, but there are plenty in there that are indistinct enough I can use them.
i have so many weird but nostalgic memories at airports. i can’t remember them exactly but i know that i have them and they make me feel relaxed and in the moment, or like my mind is somewhere else and it’s super hard to explain but it makes me feel happy
Everyone saying this is relaxing but for me this is terrifying. I am listening to this for my exposure therapy. I really want to overcome my panic attacks at airports. I need to take 20+ hours flights in 2 months to go back to my home country from US. I have been working on therapy for almost 2 years. I don’t feel fear for airplanes but I feel very scared at airports. Thanks for uploading this.
I wonder how many peopled have used this as background noise while calling their bosses to tell them they're trapped at the airport and can't make work because of [insert any plausible air-travel-related problem].
I really like being on the airport. my favorite thing about the airport is the beauty of God's creation (Human), the different skins tone, the body shapes, hair styles. You see the beauty of cultures right there, It's amazing.
0:00 Your parents wake you up long before sunrise, luggage is already prepared to go into the car. Maybe you have some toast before you leave, you sit back and watch some TV while you eat. Now you're dressed to go fly, you and your brother wear matching clothes for this special occasion and your on your way to the airport. It's a bit of a drive to the airport, you watch trees go by the car on the highway. The sun is about to rise. You see the yellow lights that light up the highway giving you a warm feeling inside. These lights always give you the fond memories of going to the airport to go see family and friends across the country. You listen to the sounds of the wind blowing onto the car, and the sound of the roads and tires making contact. You think to yourself, maybe I should get a little more sleep on the way, but it's to late, you've arrived at your destination. Exiting the car you can already hear the sounds of aircraft taking off. You entre the airport and the sound of luggage and announcements hits you like a wall of bricks. It's been a long time old friend, it's been years since you've ever set foot in an airport, and it's the best feeling on earth. The family brings their luggage to be checked in. You hear your dad wondering if they'll be to heavy, as usual. Thankfully, they all made it through. Now its time for security. Long lines make you anxious that need to use the washroom, but for the first time it went smooth. Of course one member of the family always gets picked up by the metal detectors somehow, you have a laugh about it, and now you're on your way to wait at your gate for your flight. You are surrounded by large windows with the sunrise creeping over the horizon and silhouettes of aircraft taking off and landing, their loud engines vibrate your chest in a pleasent way. You cant help but watch and listen to the majestic birds. Stores as far as the eye can see, always wanting to get a toy from one of them, but mom and dad always have to tell you no. Now that you and the family have been waiting a while, you all start to get a little hungry. Mom and dad make the decision to go to your favorite food chain in the airport (Tim Hortons of course in Canada). You can already smell the coffee and fresh food that came from the morning batch. Maybe you'll get a bagel with cream cheese and orange juice as a drink. The sweet taste of the orange juice always reminded you of flying, it was your favorite delight when flying as a kid. Suddenly, you hear an announcement, excited that this might finally be the one calling for your flight, you hear "Air Canada flight 273 boarding at gate 17" echo through the airport, it's time to board. Walking quickly towards your gate, you are the most excited person on earth. It's finally happening, after 2 years of never even being in an airport, your about to go fly once again. You walk down the strange metal square all the way to *your* aircraft. The engines have already spooled up and crossing for the metal tube to the aircraft you feel the gusts of wind push you, it feels like chaos, but then when you get in the aircraft, peace. The boarding music playing quietly while a flight attended welcomes you aboard with a soothing and calm voice. You sit down in your assigned seat, luggage already stored away and wait for taxi. Airplane sounds (open in new tab to continue reading the story): ruclips.net/video/co7KgV2edvI/видео.html Taxi has just begun, and the cabin crew are now going through the safety briefing with the video playing on the screens (open in new tab): ruclips.net/video/cO4ajY4Bcaw/видео.html Now you're lined up on the runway, seat belt locked and ready to go. As the engines come to life, the captain releases the parking brake and you feel the G forces push you into your seat! The plane reaches takeoff speed and the pilot pulls back on the joystick lifting the aircraft into the air, the runway slowly becomes smaller and smaller and soon your above the clouds. Relaxed for your flight, the iconick seat belt ding sounds (open in new tab): ruclips.net/video/Ysor5BnDJ_4/видео.html You may now move around the cabin. You get comfy, and start a movie. The flight attendeds come around to serve drinks and snacks, maybe you pick a sprite with some crackers on the side. As you start eating your dad has already managed to fall asleep. Now its time for a 5 hour flight. Midway through the flight now, you have to use the washroom. You're not surprised by how small the washroom is, but it's the usual. You sit down and releave yourself. You now have to do the worst but most iconick part, flush it down. As in all airliners whenever you flush it is the most outrageous sound of all. You're glad to have that over with. Sitting back down in your seat, your movie is almost done now. Once it is you choose to play some music and look at the clouds as they go by. The clouds always look better from above, it's like a land of marshmallows, so fluffy and perfectly white. The sound of wind blowing over yhe body of the aircraft is calming. And while you are gazing out from miles, you see another plane flying by. You wonder, where could they be going? Getting sleepy once again, you close your eyes all the way to descent. You wake up, with the seat belt sign on, and now your descending through the clouds. You can now see the airport approaching, and soon enough you've touched down. Welcome to your destination.
Try to combine this and Brian Eno's Music for Airports by opening Spotify or Apple music or opening it in the other tab while opening this. It's brilliant!
For some reason, waiting for your plane to arrive in your terminal is so peaceful and relaxing to me. I sound crazy but I just can’t explain it.

I just love airports and planes and all of that.
I'm playing this on my tv pretending I'm stuck at an airport to my boss so I don't need to go into work LOL
I swear listening to this when you’re high is the best thing
After getting through security it’s time to relax 😎.
I miss it staying at the airport at 5 AM
Driving my cat around while listening to this getting her ready for her first flight.
I love the walking sounds in the airport, it's soo satisfying😊
Thank you for this portal 🙏🏽💙
i wish i was in an airport with my dad rn...
same, exactly the same! I miss traveling and spending time with my dad, but back home he never has time.
Playing this for my dog, he’ll be traveling with me in about a month I’m so nervous! I hope he does well 🥹
I cannot describe how relaxed and how I really love airport's terminal
Try to combine this and Brian Eno's Music for Airports by opening Spotify or Apple music or opening it in the other tab while opening this. It's brilliant!
I love this soo much. I miss traveling
I love how crisp the airport air smells like. Almost like smelling the bedsheets, that neutral refreshing bleach smell.
The terminal sounds and the sound of plane landing and takeoff..
