In 2024 I have made the madness of buying it again for the second time. :) It is a great device, it sounds very good, even better than some current devices.

I couldn't agree more. It is still very usable.
      Thanks for watching 🤝🏻

I had the rack mount version in the early 00s. Plugged it into a Mesa 50/50 power amp and it screamed. I wish I could play as loud these days but I have too many neighbors.

I feel you 🙏 I really miss my old rehearsal room sometimes. Nowadays, I have to make sure I don't annoy any neighbors.
      Thanks for watching 🤘🏻

Very cool video. I’ve never considered buying one of these. until watching your video. It sounded so good in the video. I’m considered picking one of these up, now. Keep up the good work, my brother. 🎉🎉🎉 I hope you have a merry Christmas. 🎁

Thank you, brother 🙏 you should. They are probably for free by now 😂 and sound pretty cool.
Thanks for watching. You're a good man 🤝🏻
I hope your channel grows in 2025. You deserve it.
      Merry Christmas 🎅

Nice video! I have this laying around somewhere and planning to set it up again. You're cool man. I dig your old tech fetish. Pair it with the Boss PW-10. Let's see what will happen.

      Thanks man 🤝🏻
Yeah, do that, it's really fun to rediscover old stuff.
      That's a great idea, Sir! 🤔

I picked one up in the early 2000s, used it around the house for ages. You can access a lot of parameters with shift functions, and get even deeper with a PC editor. It wasn't great by any real standards, but it was perfect for jamming and practicing, and I loved being able to walk in, fire up Cubase, plug into my Pod and just start cranking out ideas without having to worry about firing up an amp and fiddle with micing cabs and focusing on tone chasing - the Pod was good enough in that role. I'm using an Axe FX III mk2 now and love it, but imagine something with the immediacy of the Pod and models on par with Fractal, how cool would that be?

Thanks for sharing that. That is exactly what I imagined people would do in the early 2000s
I gotta be honest, I have no idea about DAWs and all the computer stuff, since I have no proper pc that could handle today's daws. I can only imagine what you can do with that.
      Thanks for watching 🫡

Had both the standard and rack version... Sounds good BUT the tube response is NOT there like a real tube amp. This makes doing demanding dynamic stuff (like Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, SRV) extremely difficult with this device.

I remember the delay swell being a cool effect with the POD

Yeah, I skipped that in the video, but it's veeeery cool
