Excellent profiling of the progress happening in KONZA. Indeed, while we out here think nothing much is happening, ....looks like so much has happened so far! Congrats KOTDA

As a patriotic Kenyan who's so passionate about the Konza project, I have got one key concern and I'll let it out as a question. How easy is it going to be for KOTDA to regulate developments around the buffer zone given the fact that people are selling as little as 1/8 acres of land?
The government was to put vertical Almost Compelete you and me horizontal. In America Genz Face book bulit Silcon Valley. Its not what you for your Nation is what you do to your Nation.
Has the current president and/or his deputy visited Konza? That good will is very very important because it seems the current government isn't interested in that konza.
The Konza Idea is great, but the question is; how comes these regims after Kibaki seems not interested in this Konza thing. Truth be told this project has never got the support it deserves from these governments
There's high chances it will be a ghost city. Most of the investors showing interest in the city are academic institutions. Tech companies meant for the zone are rather choosing Nairobi. Manufacturers are opting to Lamu, Mombasa, Naivasha SEZs due to available markets. This feature is still missing in Konza. We have seen such projects in multiple countries turning useless. The billions should be invested in upgrading the existing cities and town. We can still achieve the main goal even faster without Konza.

KENYA SHOULD LEASE THE LAND TO INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS OTHERWISE THE BUILDING PROCESS WILL BE VERY SLOW AND TAKE TOO LONG TO COMPLETE! EGYPT HAS ALREADY FINISHED THEIR SECOND CAPITAL CITY AWAY FROM CAIRO. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ALSO BAN ALL MATATU'S FROM KONZA AND MAKE IT MORE CIVILIZED.
