    If you'd stayed for another hour you'd have had some great floodlit footage. First night skiing of the season started at 5pm.

    Are you using winter tires? How often do you need chains to drive to the top?

      No. Most of the time we don't need chains. just carry them all the time in winter. Queenstown is not that cold.
