Remember... A painting can be added to if you do one you feel is sparse. I did one last night and I don't like the way the larger rocks are so, since it's an Arora borialis dreamscape, I will add a few mountains and a small village with a dock on the water. I've discovered a painting is never done. The reason is, we view it differently each time we look at it. Painting is part of my therapy as well and I never plan. I just put colors on the canvas. I'm always surprised at what appears. I also suffer with anxiety. Thank you Clive for your kindness in sharing with us. Such valuable information. I also like very much that you're relaxed and when you said as you were painting that it doesn't really matter... Thank you. You're right. Perfection isn't art. It's anxiety. Creativity is art. Love to you and yours from America.

Some of the little debbie boxes are white inside but they are thinner.

Happy New Year Clive. Can you help me with an issue? I just can't seem to get Gesso down smoothly on either a preprimed canvas or on a wood panel. When I apply it I get brush strokes over and over again. I end up just sanding it down repeatedly. Can you explain why this is happening? Thank you.

Is it home made ? Try thinning it with water small amounts at a time sounds to be thickened
