Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
FYI - Charleston Car Videos on RUclips Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.
*I've had a Jaguar Vanden Plas for many years and know it's mechanics very well* there are videos of me reviewing the car on my channel, and also on Scotty Kilmer's channel. *Your Jaguar* is in restricted performance mode which is what set the rev-limiter to 6,000rpm at 12:40, it is not an engine or transmission problem (although you may also have that.) The only way to determine what causes that and to know what to repair is to pull the codes - a $15 bluetooth code-reader is sufficient. A low-battery condition is the most-common cause of restricted performance in this car; assuming the alternator works properly, you can just drive the car normally (sans flooring it) and after about half-an-hour the restricted performance should shut itself off when there is enough amperage in the batteries to keep the car working correctly (note, amperage, not voltage which can read as 12-13v and still have a low-battery condition.) You are actually lucky as there are two levels of restricted performance, the other one locks the car from travelling over about 15mph which makes it mobile but unusable.
HEY BUDDY.
This guy is a “classic”contemporary used car salesman. What a way to treat a jaguar !
3:19 you tried to the open the trunk with the green valet key, that's why it didn't open
I have a 1998 Vanden plans I’m the second owner it’s been garaged for a long time. 84k miles!
How does it hold? I just talked to a gentleman who’s selling his 01 for 6500 116k on the dash. I only drive German cars but I always loved British beauties
Great vid, you are cracking me up, ditch the music though please. I gave a car channel here too.
Man, These things (mine anyway... 98..) books for still around 4-5 grand used! Crazy! So yeah, That's a steal. Well, considering you had Lights on the dash like a mofo lmao.
Mine is still at 74k miles, Runs like new, Interior is basically new, The whole car is almost pristine besides the top paint (clear coat is done) lol.
Gotta love these old jags, I swear! Amazingly smooth and quick cars.
I own two Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas sedans, a 2001 and 2002. This guy needs to familiarize himself better with these cars before posting a video, jeez. The first one should go straight to the wrecking yard...tranny is obviously shot. and the dash warnings were dire, trust me...The second car...who cares. This video plays like outtakes from Dumb and Dumber. It took me a year to find the two models I purchased, and you absolutely need a first-class mechanic who knows these inside and out. He will save you money, trust me. They're beautiful cars, and Ford did much good to clean up their mechanical gremlins, but you have to stay on top of them. When they're working, the experience is sublime, and the unsolicited compliments will just keep coming...IF you keep them showroom perfect at all times.
Agreed. I own 2 jaguars. 91 xj6, 98 xj8 , hes an idiot ya for sure, but anyways, yes I agree with you. Gotta maintain your car. Take care of your car and It will take care of you.
Or work on it yourself. I have two '99s, an XJ8 and XJR and both are running strong.
Those back things on the seat do come out and are small tables. I had 98' Vanden Plas and mine folded out as tables.
I feel sorry for the car!!!..you have no clue with all that shit talkin!
Probably the Funniest Car Review , I have ever seen.
This Car shows Multiple WARNINGS, and this Guy Revs it to hell and smithereens, while telling us how great this Car is/can be in the future !
This guys knew close to nothing about xjs
This guy doesn't seem to know much about cars.. talking about the " MASSIVE 4.0 litre v8.. and the fact that it's blowing a bit if white smoke out of the exhaust that isn't too much of a bag thing."
Why would he like the comment
The fast and rough way handling interior like that, jaguars become like this. You have to be gentle and Classy
Sad review of an abused car that has been driven hard. Look away.
😂🤦🏻♂️
Man what a hooptie, at least you're honest about the hoopties you're trying to sell
Baller shot caller lol
Cool style of presentation! :)))) want to see more videos. Thanks
thanks for saying that! its nice to hear some people enjoy my style of car reviews. Chad
Keep up the good work man I love your videos and your honesty

Michael Carpenter thanks Michael!
Reply to all the comments that tell you to do your research on a car or have a script so you dont sound so stupid
You really sound what you know what you're taliking about🤦♂️
Ever thought about delivering newspapers?
Gawd help those cars.
🤣 looks like it’s got eaten by an alligator had me dead
This is a great car ,I have a 1999 xj8 with the super charge v8 an did some minor damage to it an they want to charge you a arm an leg haven't been able to afford to fix may sale
good year
Typical used car salesman. Perfect, quiet, and smooth ride when engine is off.
That first car isn't a Jag - it's a Daimler, higher spec interior, & the hood grille is different. Also the rear picnic tables do work( the bits of wood attached to the back of the front seats) , you just need to figure out how to use them !
In the US they where all Jags.
@@b.c.gamingss In the US , Jaguar , for legal reasons, could not use the name Daimler, so they called this Luxury line Vanden Plas !
And...these VandenPlas were mostly made in Long Wheel Based versions, not like most Jags....
U can kinda compare Jaguar to BMW, like Daimler to Alpina.
Please don’t let this guy do anymore videos for your car lot. Knows nothing 🤦🏽♂️
Thank you I was looking for this comment.
He should check out the car off film first. Dumbass.
This guy doesn't know anything about classic Jaguars and yes there is a food trays on the back of the front seats
Typical XJ8, transmission issues are common as well as engine problems.
All this can be avoided by early preventative maintenance. After August 01 Jag updated it's plastic internal engine parts with metal.
Bad gas or water in gas tank
This car has been driven hard and poorly maintained. Sounds like the gears are slipping which means a bad transmission. Also, just name the channel to match the business name.
That poor Jaguar..she has had a hard life it looks like..the previous owner must have had a larger behind too...that seat looks like a Pit Bull chewed on it! The Vanden Plas, pronounced "Plouse like mouse" the rear trays do fold down and have cut out areas for cups although too shallow for use.. Love these cars but such high upkeep and parts cost.I had a friend that had a 2005 S-Type R Supercharged model..talk about a fast car! It was better than sex! haha
No, it is not pronounced “Plouse”...not even remotely...😂😂😂
Van den Plas, later Vanden Plas, was originally a Belgian coachbuilder, hence the name is Flemish and the correct pronunciation something like “vunn dan plus” and most probably also not “vunn dan Pluh”, which would be a mix of Flemish and French.
@@waytosacramento3843 and you are? Nobody...I don't pay much attention to anyone with no content that makes comments... I think you should drive down to your local Jaguar dealer or even a Range Rover dealer and ask one of the older service techs the correct pronunciation instead of copying a paragraph from Wikipedia...which does not give a pronunciation either. I was just laughing about this with my service writer at my Jaguar dealer about how many people try to say Plas! I can't wait to show him this when I pick up my car in the morning!! Too funny!! You made my night!! I must hurry to screen shot this before you delete it!! I spit my tea out when I read your comment!! Thank you for giving me a good laugh!! Priceless!!
This is so sad. This is an amazing car. Its powerful, quiet, smooth and handles amazingly. Unfortunately this is a bag of shit. Hasn't been looked after. Its scrap unfortunately. Not safe. Which is a shame as these are solid well built cars, but this hasn't had any care in its life.
Why Ford didn't put this engine in the mustangs. I don't know.....
Fucked up transmission. That's why it wasn't swapped into the other Jag
You pull from the bottom of the tray and it pushes up and then you just lay it down.
Ha ha so funny.
The transmission fluid is low i think?
"My Lord" lol
I hear a vacuum leak
Not very clear
Just send this to the junk yard
Misfire.
Van de plas mean, a L jaguar boddy car
Lol
