I've always had a passion for bot hunting, even though most of my wow friends considered it a waste of time. Seeing these videos always puts a smile on my face and has renewed my interest in hardcore; hopefully I can hunt down some bots of my own. Thanks for posting!
We need bot hunting Addon or something, maybe named bounty hunter. With at least list of confirmed bot account names and scoreboard/leaderboard of confirmed bot kills by players. Just throwing the idea not sure how it could work exactly. Maybe it's not quite a coded addon that works on it's own but a scoreboard updated by some people who are interested in reporting bots and adding them to the list.
That would be sick actually. Imagine this across all HC servers with a certain admin confirming whether the reports are true or not, and only then the bot would appear in the bounty list.
I quit classic era because of the insane amount of blatant botting and blizzard doing nothing about it. Bot trains (100s in a span of 5min) all running around in the exact same path selling/repairing at a vendor in Light's Hope Chapel, and then just fly hacking/exploiting off into the sky. Same thing happened in a lot of other places but Light's hope and Feathermoon Stronghold were the worst I saw. This is the reason i wont play wow anymore because blizzard dont care, all it would take is 1 active GM who has an occasional peek in those locations to just actively ban them (as I requested many times in my bot reports). They don't care about keeping the servers healthy from cheaters/botter/exploiters, and for me that's one of the most important aspects of an mmo. That being said I thoroughly enjoy your vids especially because it's hc, keep it up.
Last night I was playing on Grobb normal Classic and I was playing my lvl 25 rogue. I had the thirst to kill ANY Alliance enemy, and I would get to them no matter where I was. So I hopped onto a second instance of WoW and found a level 28 huntard named Plxel in Duskwood. I had quite a bit of time on my hands to find this Plxel so I traversed from Tarren Mill-UC-Stranglethorn. I then got over to Elwynn as I discovered that they went to Elwynn Forest, so I was like, "How about we go to Goldshire?" I looked there and couldn't find them even with /tar, and then I tabbed back to my Dwarf to see where Plxel was. In fact, he was in Duskwood. At this point I was starting to get confused and wondering where the heck this Plxel guy was and got to Duskwood as fast as I could. Plxel's current location: Stormwind. I went back to Elwynn and at this point it was nothing but a goose chase, so I eventually settled with staying in Duskwood to find the Dwarf. As I traveled to the Alliance town, who did I find? Plxel! His bot's name was in Chinese and he had no guild, so I knew he was just trying to farm leather and get to 60. I ended up killing him 8 times (basically until he had no honor left) and then I was able to finish the day with screenshots and video evidence of the retarded botting on the server. Blizzard, wherever you are, fix this. It's no longer fun for anybody. Anyways, great vid as always Madskillzzhc!
I am 300% invested, in fact my husband is a fan too. We are curious though, where are you from? We tried to identify the language on another video without success hahaha We stand with you, all the support from Germany and Brasil!
I love these videos, only thing I would say for feedback is please just keep it on 1x speed and instead cut parts away that are not needed. Having them on 5x speed or whatever it is, is not nice to watch.
Good to know. Will start to use cut scenes from now on. The reason i use speed up is so that people can get a grasp on how far i actually kite these mobs to get the kill. A cut scene it could look like i almost didnt move the mob at all 😇

@@martinbjerg5195 Ja nu kommer der fresh lige om lidt. Nu har vi faktisk chancen for at holde dem nede inden de rammer SM. Overvej +5 hunters der lige tog en runde en gang om ugen og cleanede botsne over level 40.

Seeing bots walk off the tanaris edge into ungoro was a sight to see. could even have bets around who would die first (if many bots were targeted)
I can. But it would be manipulating social aggro and have the bot attack one of the furbolgs to engage all of them. The owl just made it easier but its still easy without it.
Owls are one of the most efficient pets for these kinds of afk grinds with minimal downtime compared to most other pets due to screech. I think longterm the timesaved just from their pet choice is worth the risk of being killed by bot hunters this way far more GPH

Its only because it can take me several days to get the kill. You dont see the 100 attempts, only the actual kill.
