I feel that if your homosexual...it is your choice of free will and free will is the gift that is given to each of us by God. If you believe in God, just remember...you do have to answer for all the choices you make, as the same for me! There are rules in all that we do and no one has the right to judge you or me for our choices, but God.

If you were really a Christian you'd know that God loves all his children equally. You say God made men and women was so they can have babies together, but some females are born with the inability to be able to produce children, so if some women can be born that way then some people can also be born gay. Then women who can't bare children can't have a child with a man, but perhaps she is born gay and goes on to adopt an unwanted child, which there are plenty of. Think before you speak!!!!!
I guess it's not really we don't understand he is equal. I guess it's because the President is very influential and everyone knows who they are. They have so much power and it's probably intimidating. It's also very hard to reach them as they are most often very busy

@TheDrewManXD Unfortunately Ron Paul would be disastrous in many domestic areas. If you thought the banks ran rampant before... if you thought oil companies polluted with abandon before... if you thought the rich hoarded money before... all would be astronomically worse under Paul. Which is a shame because he is one of the only politicians in the world with that level of honesty, consistency, principle, and just good sense on things like imperial foreign policy, the drug war, and civil liberties

I don't believe in gay marriage but i do not think it should be banned! Personally I don't understand homosexuality but I do not have a problem with gay people. Frankly, I don't understand how anyone can think it's okay to make a law that basically says you can't love a certain person. What kind of cold-hearted person would even think of a law like that? Who are they to decide that gay people can't marry? They have just as much a right as heterosexuals do.
I'm glad I live in the time when gays can marry and we have a black president... And when we have shows like Ellen that can talk about it and not living in fear of being dragged out of their homes and beaten for their lifestyle...

I think Obama would be an awesome guy to hang with, but I also do not find him to be a good president. I was pulling for Romney because I think he was the less awful of our two main options. But I think just about anybody would love to chill with Obama, he seems really personable, which is part of why he has gotten elected to two terms, because he hasn't done that on his politics.
Well, I've read the Harry Potter books and the issue of tolerance is pretty important throughout the 7 books. Old conservative witches and wizards hating on muggles and "mudbloods", trying to take away rights, and actin a fool...listen, just because you're passionate about a book that means something fierce to you does not mean you should go around metaphorically smacking people with it. All you're doing is pushing people away from the idea that your book is worth reading and a consideration.

I think it is because, in America, hope is the biggest thing we've got going for us. Since we are always hoping something better will happen, we tend to have very idealistic views of the people who we believe will help fulfill our hopes. It's because we were taught to look upwards for hope and not to ourselves. Whether or not this is a positive or negative thing, well... who knows? ^_^ If that makes sense...
gods? Even an atheist knows that the Catholic "golden rule" is to love your neighbor as yourself. Stop treating others as second class citizens. Ellen has done more good for people than most by giving happiness and helping others. It's people like you that distort reality and make the world conflicted in belief--unable to achieve happiness. I don't know about an afterlife, but we have this one now so why don't you try being positive and accepting rather than negative and rejecting in this life.
I’m a conservative, Christian, but I, along with most American's would agree that loving committed couples should have the right to commit legally & share in the same benefits (& negatives) of traditional marriage. The focus should not be on re-defining “marriage” which is religious, but on establishing “legally united” as the legal term for all legally united couples regardless of their sexual orientation. This separates church from state.
