I'm not too confident that this movie will do well. Live-action movies based on video games are a hit, and a miss. There have been one, or two that have been successful at the box office. Recently. Like Sonic The Hedgehog, but it's a risky genre. Others such as the Mortal Kombat reboot, and Monster Hunter tanked. And with Minecraft due for a 2025 release, time will tell if the tide will change.
