Im dont know if it's been asked before, but why does Zoey have a muzzle ?
This typically happens when a dog is known to have behavior issues or shows evidence of it. Zoey has a history so they decided to use a muzzle in this video. She's had a muzzle in previous playgroups, so she tolerated it. Zoey did well, although I think she did over-correct another dog. Sometimes I remove sections of footage if I think it would have a negative impact on viewer dogs. I hope Zoey won't need a muzzle before long.

4 hours dog in daycare
Very few dogs spend that much time in the playgroup. The 4 hour daycare video consists of 2 separate playgroups on two separate days.
The handlers who run the playgroups are trained in knowing when to send dogs back to their kennels. Overall the staff and volunteers have years of experience with many thousands of shelter dogs. It's important to get most of the frightened dogs into the playgroup in order to desensitize them from being frightened of other dogs. Eventually most of them improve a lot. Some go on to be fairly social. The purpose of this is to help them to get adopted and out of the shelter. Note that when those frightened dogs are back in their kennels, they can be even more frightened.
Is that Magnus who was adopted?
Yes. This video was actually recorded before #28, but I wanted to get the video showing Magnus being adopted published ASAP so people who were part of the adoption could see it right away. I swapped the numbers (28 29) and published them in reverse order. Magnus hasn't returned to the shelter.
I'm currently vacationing in Colorado so I built up a backlog.
