Happens all the time. I have a cousin that's been locked up for something he didn't do for the last 27 years. His brother and another guy did it, my cousin took the charge because my great aunt (their grandmother) and their aunts and momma were telling him to take it because he had mental disabilities so he wouldn't get a lot of time. After they gave him life, he tried to tell the truth but it was too late. They threw one brother away for the other and I'll never get over that.

I found no follow up so I assume he is still incarcerated
