I've learned more from four of your videos than I ever have. Thanks! You have a sincere and serious demeanor with a touch of humor. Good combination. I'll keep watching.
Thank you for your amazing videos, they're very helpful! I always find it very funny that when referring to other videos, you point on something that's not there.
A little link box should pop up in the corner that you can click on to take you to that video, or you can click on the little white "i" that sits on the top right!
I really appreciate this video. I often think about this very topic! As an artist and designer I really want to be the sole creator of my products... And because of this I'm often doubtful of my business growth/being MORE profitable. A lot of information out there suggests outsourcing work but right now I really want to only one who creates my pieces... especially since each piece is one of a kind.
Courtney, you have to be comfortable with how you run your business, and if you want to retain creative control then you absolutely should! You could always outsource, shipping, social media, bookkeeping, etc. if you were looking to streamline. But I totally get the pull of making your own pieces - that is your voice!
I'm on Etsy. I don't have a popular item because most of my items are one of a kind. I have bundle sets, I include a gift with each order, I have free shipping, most of my customers order 2 items per order, price increase is intimidating to me. I was not aware that Etsy an abandon cart email. Etsy do not allow for setting up emails with customers. Can you please look at my shop? Enjoyed your video because you gave these tips as if you really cared about the audience you're talking to.
Mei, thanks for the info! I find your videos very helpful, even though I don't have a handmade products website. Your tips translate well to other business sectors, too. Thanks! 😃🛍🙏👍
Hi may, im just starting a clothing business and i've seen u about the calculating for selling price is = cost x 2 x 2 = selling price. But im a little concern about cost it ( that a little too much especially in covid times), if i do cost x 3 = selling price. Its a good decision or shouldn't ? Plse reply me thank u may
I wouldn't advise it, no. The reason you do cost x 2 and then x 2 again is to compete with those in the retail arena. If your price is coming out higher than you usually charge then you are probably underpricing your work.

Hi sister is wix a good place to start?
I would go for Shopify. You can do much more for a similar price.
@@CreativeHiveCo thank you sis!
