    👉👉👉 the Enhancement in NX 1980 is described here 3:58 ! Feel free to download and use the shown exercise here www.bizlearn.de/downloads/_NX1899Testpart.zip
    Looking forward your comments and let me know if you are interested in information about the Design Groups 🤓🤘

    I am excited! Saugeil - Danke! ;-)
    Now it's easy for colleagues who hate expressions to work with them once generated by anyone else. Very long explanation names of the variables are no more needed to describe the purpose. Great!

    I would be interested in design groups. Great videos, keep them coming.

      I have one uploaded a German review about deign groups. But I think it's worth, making an English version as well (-: thanks for the comment. Have a nice day (-;

    Hi Simon, going thru expressions I've a issue with Import command. There's a way to import Groups with expressions keeping the original structure exported? Eg: Exported expressions have multiple levels of groups. I've tried to find out the appropriated attribute to fill in the .exp file but not found anything related. Thanks. Your videos rocks!!

    We will upgrade nx next month, I am looking forward. Design groups sound very good!

      Hey, which version were you using before? Design groups require a strategic design method like the horizontal modeling solutions I have presented. Then you will have the full advantage, but also depending on the product type you are designing.

      @@Bizlearn_Siemens_NX_Training we are using 1872. First time I heard horizontal modeling was in this channel. I still try to remove bad practices and follow horizontal modeling all the time :-)

      @@jacoboku good idea (-: Hopefully, you are involving your colleagues as well - they maybe will have to deal with your designs (-:

    I use NX1980 in 2024 now for the last 7 months. Apparently there still is no way to organize expression groups by name or anything. They move around on their own not even when they are populated. This is the only thing apparently they have not implemented any solve for even a couple years later.

    How do you move, lets say, 200 expressions at once into an existing or new group (NX 1973)?

    • @Bizlearn_Siemens_NX_Training
      @Bizlearn_Siemens_NX_Training  2 года назад

      Not possible I guess. Have you tried to export expressions with groups already? Are the groups exported as well?

      @@Bizlearn_Siemens_NX_Training, after I sent my question I found out a way to do it. On the expression editor, select the expression/s (use ctrl to do multiple selection) then click and hold in any of those selected expressions until the cursor changes and move the block of expressions to the target group (create one beforehand if needed) then release the mouse. I wish Siemens improve the usability of the editor, it is really limited.
      And no, I don't see any group information in the exported expressions file.

    It would make more sense if this option was at expression group instead of at expression individually. I mean how many p# exprs get created and how many groups exist on template items.
