I finished my cotton cloth late last night and felt soooo satisfied with this new craft! Thank you as the lessons are simple and each builds on the previous lesson! I taught granddaughters to crochet and can see knitting in the future for them😊
Kristen, thank you so much for this series introducing beginners to knitting. I have been envious of those who enjoy this hobby for a very long time. Your tutorials are so thorough and your camera angles are excellent! Thank you for imparting so much good instruction with beginners in mind. I completed a washcloth in the chunky yarn and my husband was so impressed. I am making a second one with the cotton yarn. I just wanted you to know your efforts are very appreciated by this beginner in Maryland. God Bless.
Way to go!! I’m so proud of you. Let me know how the cotton goes. Thank you so much for your kind encouraging words as well. Are you on Instagram? I’d love to see your work. ❤️
Hi Kristen! Thank you so much for making these videos! My mother taught me a little about knitting and crochet; unfortunately, she is no longer with us. I love these videos. Thanks again from a novice in Maryland.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I am just back to knitting after over 40years away. I mostly crochet but wanted to get back into knitting and I need to learn so much I really appreciate the tutorial that is geared toward the beginner! 🐰🐰
Thank you so much, these lessons are so clear and easy to follow. I've attempted to learn knitting beyond basic bind on and knit stitch countless times and always gave it up out of frustration. This is the first time I've found a resource that really clicks for me. I found you via your loom knit videos as I figured that was the only way I was going to be able to manage to knit but this course has inspired me to try needles again - in a couple of days I've gone way further than I've ever managed before.
i'm about to do a big hand knit chunky blanket but thought it might be nice to do a border around the edges, i love the pearling but not how doing one kind of nit curls up the edges, so maybe if i create at least 2 knit border that would solve that. hmm
So I’m working on a scarf in the stockinette stitch. Would the garter stitch border work like in this video but for a scarf instead of a square cloth? Thank you!!!
Hi there Sophia. I was planning for this Saturday but struggling to film. We are displaced in Texas right now due to weather. I’m desperately trying to film today. I’ll let you know. Thanks for watching!
I’m stuck. Why when I finish a row my tail and working yarn are both at the top of needle. Viewing yours…your tail is at the end of row and working yarn at the front? 😢
@@Judy-u2j did you watch the first lessons? The only time you should have the tail and working yarn at the top at the same time is right after casting on. With each row you continue using only the working yarn and the tail will get further way from the needle as you knit more inches. Every other row they will both be on the same beginning of the row but the tail will be at the bottom of the knitting.
