Jared toured with Trivium for a while (playing guitar a bit and vlogging) and Howard was one of the openers with his band. When Matt Heafy had to leave the tour because of his newborn twins Jared had to fill in and play guitar and Howard was one of the guys taking on vocal duties. Guess they got along and here we are. :)

This is monumental! Howard's history as a frontman, his voice, Jared's growth as a musician and RUclipsr, touring with Matt Heafy and Trivium. Both of these guys are legends! And then to come together, to not only deliver a masterpiece of a single, but to debut as a new project! I could not be happier as a huge fan of Jared's and Howard's! They killed it!! As always, glad to see some fellow metalheads that can appreciate not only the music itself but the significance of the people involved! Keep rocking guys! \m/
I think that rest of the world is missing is that that was two...TWO...gentleman...producing a song with the sound depth quality substance layers and "it-ness"/"awesomeness" of a whole ass team of artists...good bad or ugly, however you feel about it, it is indeed legendary, and I love it💯💯💯❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘!!!
I can't wait for the entire album! Everyone loves Howard's vocals which to be fair rightfully so, but Jared's skills are also fucking 🔥 Both so fucking talented!

The good reward, the metal; the fist to palm, rift to alm, guitar intense. Vocals to call the dogs back. Where one wandering might upon a bit a help come, not just lovely rock and yo mud! For love of Earth and her preservation, tendance~! And you know what? apologizecross the red line for some, not yet others. Till happenings take over and dependence goes off mad to her room. And even even complaint veers some off, were any trying.
If the rest of the album is like this,🤯. Jared and Howard filled in for Matt Heafy of Trivium when Matt had to leave a tour early. Might want to check out Jared and Matt’s EP, DinesX Heafy. Excellent also. Love the song, great reaction.
Executed? Alive or Just Breathing having always been my favorite Killswitch Album, and will forever be my favorite Killswitch album... My experience is that of being crucified for saying I think Jesse is better than Howard! haha Here's the thing, my favorite album is AoJB... But my favorite KsE SONG ever is Rose of Sharyn... Pretty much hands down. If I had the choice to see KsE live with Howard, or with Jesse, I'd be choosing Howard without hesitation.. Now you may be thinking I'm one bipolar SoB right now but hear me out... I love every single song on AoJB. Some more than others, but I can absolutely listen to the album all of the way through without the desire to skip a song, and have done so many many times. I have never listened to The End of Heartache all the way through without skipping songs, similar story with As Daylight Dies. Although the high points of albums with Howard are extremely high... A few of them higher than anything from AoJB even.. I don't know if it's Howard's voice, or what it is exactly. But, for me, it starts to become extremely repetitive, boring, mediocre metalcore... And it seemed to only get worse and worse as time went on. The latest self titled album with Howard, his last album with them I believe? Is pure, hot garbage. It devolved from albums with really good high points and some filler that can't be called "bad" songs, but were also generally not worth listening to and were generally uninspiring... Into an entire album with just the filler, the high points are no longer entire songs, rather they are moments in particular songs throughout the album. It was awful. Most of the huge KsE fans I know can't name a song off that album. Me? I tried so hard... And got so.. Well not very far at all. I listened to every song on that album repeatedly. I was left disappointed and no closer to finding anything to love about the album. I can't say it really surprised me even.. It seemed like it was always where they were headed. Howard's screaming was downright mediocre (in Killswitch, I've only heard this song once but it seems as though his chops may have improved since then) and thus his songs rely HEAVILY on a sexy as fuck, memorable, clean hook. But those can only take you so far, as they get kind of boring if you're doing it every song.. So we have Rose of Sharyn, My Curse, The End of Heartache being the biggest songs on that album I believe.. What do they all share? The chorus (OK and Adam D's guitar work was on effing point for TEOH). Some of my favorite Howard songs were actually Jesse songs from that live DVD they put out hahaha. Anyway, this got incredibly long winded. I apologize for that, but I'm just kind of curious if I'm the only one who thought this way, or if KsE fans are actually so polarized, either Howard.. Or Jesse.. No in between. And BTW I know I said a lot of bad about Howard KsE but I love that era, and I absolutely loved Howard as their vocalist. AoJB as a whole though, is just too much of a masterpiece for Howard to have ever competed in my eyes.. Especially when we're talking a whole album vs basically just a couple of songs... Very good songs... Brb I have a date with Rose of Sharyn rn. New Jesse is totally meh, though... To explain this sentiment, I'm going to use the genius of Kanye West - "I hate the new Jesse, I love the old Jesse! I hate the new Jesse, I love the old Jesse!
