Btw moors they are not blacks I’m moorish the moors are arab and berbers in the same army and same country like algeria Morocco tunisia libya those are the moors not blacks and berbers also are not black they are white and brown like the arabs
Where is all the "arab" influence? Because clearly I don't see it, unless you tell me the cathredal of Palermo has arabian elements in it's architecture then the city of Bath in England had arabs too hahaha. Please... The islamic domination lasted so short that there is anything that recall of arabic inluence, Palermo has only some writings on some walls inside the cathedral discovered only in 1500, and that's it. Arab influences are seen only by those who want to manipulate history for political reasons connected with modern immigration.
It's a pretty well known style and mix of cultures: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman-Arab-Byzantine_culture . You can see things like the muqarna ceiling and arches in the Royal Chapel, or the red domes on some of the churches, among other examples.
I'm sicilian and you are talking bs. You can clearly see the moorish elements in the buildings like for example the arches, the roof edge ornaments, fassade ornaments, window shapes, doors, the gardens, the fountains etc. You can see it on many buildings in almost every city and village in sicily. Please get your facts straight before you comment under this great video. Thanks.
I love all of the Arab influences. It is another really cool place!
Yeah I was fascinated, it's not something I've seen much of in Europe!

Aghlabids first then Fatimids then Kalbids.
@Isaac both. Mostly just nort african influence and north africa was mixed. Imazighen and arabs lived/live in north africa.
@Isaac they mixed with the natives in africa + the natives did the same things as the arabs. They both conquered, fought, worked, influenced etc.
@Isaac We werent colonized. Look in Google what colonization means. Where are u from?
