only just saw this but thank you for answering my question about favourite/least favourite thing about sheffield!! that’s really helpful :) i’m definitely considering it i’m just waiting to look round it in person now
LOL its funny how a lot of people say that Sheffield is hilly, but after the open day it makes me feel like Sheffield is a lot less hilly from where I live PS I live in south Devon, and you can't get any hillier than Lyme Regis 😂. Anyways, Im still looking forward to this September, as well as looking forward to your exciting journey.
Aha you’ll be fine in Sheffield then!! But where our campus is located is not that hilly, if you ever come across the crookesmoore area - that’s where the hills are! 😁
I’ve made a video about freshers week few years ago when it was still fresh in my head! Gosh it does feels like so long ago since we had a proper one, all I can say is don’t book things until you know who can go with you? Since you’ll be bombarded with events advertising, don’t feel pressurised to do everything. Most booking can be done via the students union website!
Yes, I personally have never experienced anything life threatening in Sheffield. Just always stay with your friends in late hours but when it’s daylight I don’t see a problem roaming around alone but obviously always be careful since you never know who you’d encounter!
im from sheffield and to hear that people like the experience, going to our university etc. im glad u enjoyed it 🙂
I loved sheffield so much! ☺️☺️

Thank youuu for responding to my question about the part time job 🥰 how did you apply?
No problem!! I just did it through uni, their platform called ‘My JobShop’! You can go to the SU to inquire since they have an office there
Love this video! Super creative and informative :)
Thanks! So happy I’ve helped

Is there any advice for Freshers week? Like what/how to book things. I'm in a GC with other Freshers and it all just seems pretty confusing.

Hi ☺️
We currently have the bears of Sheffield all over the city. bearsofsheffield.com. An orange one outside my history department at Jessop West.
No way, that’s crazy! Hopefully they’re not harmful
@@SukiCheung I think it is a bear trail for kids. plastic. Based on our bear pit at the Botanical gardens. bearsofsheffield.com
