PS: The 77D also has the "Display off sensor", it's right below the hot shoe. This auto turns off the screen display when you put the viewfinder up to your face. (nice power saver)

Hi, I just got the Canon 77D, but I had a 77D a few years ago.. and I ordered it online from a retailer I am not familiar with.. My question is did CANON change how heavy the Canon 77D is.. this new camera is the weight of my Canon T6, also the battery is now smaller, it used to have a larger battery.. Just trying to figure out if they made these changes...

1. Canon 77D
2. Canon SL3 (250D)

I don't want to buy something second hand. I would like to buy brand new. In my country I can buy either of them for under 800$
