Wow that merch section was nostalgic... I spent way too much time in 2011 looking on Danielle's etsy wishing I could buy that collection of 4 plushies but as a kid I had no idea how buying physical things online worked (think they were a bit out of my budget too). There's new more "accurate" plushies now but those old Danielle made ones are just so unique. SMB was what made me create my steam account in 2010 so seeing all this old stuff on it is so neat. Wonderful video :D

23:41 the minigame of meat boy would be SO MUCH interesting if you had to drag meat boy with the styus throught the saws and projectiles and the position of the things that damage you change every minigame appearance instead of just touching meat boy with stylus and thats it Edit: thanks youtuber for hearting my comment

Cool to see the old merch from Edmund's Etsy shop mentioned here. I still have my old keychain figures and charms but some of them are in bad shape due to...well, being put on my car keyring for over a decade. Also still have the Dr. Fetus plush and Meat Boy figurine as well as some Binding of Isaac stuff from back then. They're a nostalgic reminder of the beginning of the indie game boom, and the fact that the figures/plushes were all handmade by Danielle and her mom is super charming. In a time when everything's 3D printed or shat out of factories complete with a fresh chemical smell, official merch being painstakingly crafted by hand is very uncommon.

Honestly, the online versus idea is pretty cool, maybe around in maps you could get like those boxes from Mario Kart to try to hinder players or take advantage of items, the first person to make it to Bandage girl wins
Also fun fact: I don’t remember the persons name but one of the developers confirmed there was at one point a PS3 version of super meat Boy but unfortunately it is lost media the only evidence of it left is it being mentioned in a live stream by one of the developers but I have no clue what happened to it
