Tarantellegra would also be a great spell for a 'good' run of the game. Would be hilarious to suddenly make your enemies forced to dance while trying to combat you.
I think the morality scale should be 1 for each NPC and how it affects them. Like maybe there are bad people, some that can turn out either way and only dislike you if you suddenly turn at the drop of a hat and of course good people. And some will only affect people during that specific moment as nobody else finds out, etc.
@TheYodelingViking I missed a morality system in the first game and this would fix it. But if you kill ppl and the „good“ characters suddenly don’t like you anymore it would be even better (+ dementors chasing you)
I think a good idea would be like you could buy “ books “ from shops in hogsmead but they just give you spells like the more funny spells and gimmicky spells and the more serious ones we learn in classes or through relationships
It would be cool if dementors were added and they worked just like inferi, which are only harmed by fire, except the dementors would only be harmed by expecto patronum. Furthermore, the dementors could have different levels, so that there could be different levels for expecto patronum that only work on dementors if it is high level enough, just like alohomora. I also think serpensortia would be a great spell to have in the game, and have a little snake that follows you around and defeats enemies with you for a minute or so.
I think if they added dementors it would be logical that you could only harm them with expecto Patronum. But that could be very annoying if you had a cool-down on that spell…
Cooldown problem fixed: You have the expecto patronum spell and if you use it your patronus fly's/jumps/hops etc… at the dementor or the other thing (you could also maybe control the direction or just the entire patronus like with the arrows in immortals fenyx rising) the patronus then explodes into this wave thing. Then when the dementors got hit by the patronus wave you can just do your basic attack on them but only on them its white but still does the same amount of damage (similar to the inferi)
Add Confundus, Obliviate or other mental spells in using charisma/perception mechanics. I mean, instead of outright KILLING people, our character could convince them to stop fighting or wiping their memories after immobilizing them.
I like the idea of combining spells to create different things, even if just for puzzle solving. Adding fire to water and you get steam - maybe allows you to jump to higher places. Combining spells would work excellently for co-op missions where you need to hit enemies with more than one spell at once or combine spells
Ventus + Confringo = fire tornado 🌪 Reducto to break solid troll armors. Baubillious+Ventus= Electric Tornado. Finistra to shatter glasses, it makes minute sound, very useful during a stealth mission to grant us an entry through a window for example. Riddikulus. Incarcerous ( cha cha chains ⛓ 🎶..) Ascendio it permits the caster to fly high in the air, imagine using it to reach a higher place where brooms aren't allowed; caves for instance ( works also underwater 😉). Confundo to use in stealth mode. Impedimenta to use against fast small enemies. Lumos Solem spell to blind enemies. 😊
love the ideo of getting to higher plaxex, whitout a broom, yeaha That would be cool. And be able to freeze yourself in the air or have a slowfall, right?
Yeah more use of creatures you rescued… Great idea! You could use the Rancorn (or whatever it’s Name was) not only as a mount with the debuff that it can’t fly like the other mounts (which makes sense but idk…) but could also use it as a fighting allie. And also the Phoenix to teleport but on short distances (Dumbledore did kid of a similar thing in the movie so idk) And a feature where you can use spells on brooms or mounts would be very helpful too
I would love to see some more lighthearted spells! All of the spells in hogwarts legacy 1 are very serious but I’d love to see something funny like Anteoculatia
I always thought the poacher executioners were casting the firestorm spell that Dumbledore did in HBP. The link with wizardingworld that gives our account wands, should also provide our full body patronus. But also able to change it before being offical. Just like with our wands. But also comes the phoenix patronus that isn't avaible in wizardingworld. Oh, oh. I would love for our avatar witch/wizard to become an animagus like Natty. There's no quiz on that. If so, fingure corss, we could turn into magical animals too, or marine ones (dolphin 🐬 for example) to swim in the lake.
Yes, the Fire Tornado is basically the Firestorm spell, which is pretty close to Fiendfyre in terms of making it happen in the game.. And omg, it’d be awesome if we could become animagus! 😃 The npcs already do that.. so why not let us do that too!
I want to take the OWLs so there would actually be a point in mentioning them by name and be able to do the job you get. Then there's the absence of the description of the Wand Cores, selling things other than clothing and beasts, etc.
Yeeees Animagus/Annimagus (idk) gameplay would be soo nice! Love that idea, or maybe you have more characters to play like in gta or Spider-Man 2 or divinity/Baldurs Gate and then one of them whould be an animagus (maybe you could play as natti) or a metamorph…thingy like Tonks wich could make more mechanics where you morph into enemy’s and they don’t get suspicious (Inspired by mystique from x-men). Or one of the new potions whould be polyjusce potion (idk how you write it) even thoug it whould take time and material to make I think there would be fun quests with it. (Like the one where you are Professor black)
@YaoiFan22 I think a feature that affected the gameplay based on you wands wood type or core could be fun and interesting. But I would also understand them not doing it bc it also could be annoying or/and hard to code (but they had it as a option while creating your wand in the first game and it didn’t affect anything. It was just unnecessary)
@@spider-fabian that could be interesting 🤔 to have like a main squad of MCs you can play as, with each having their own stories going on like in gta.. that’s a lot of work though 😅
If Hogwarts Legacy 2 will continue the story and have us start our sixth year, which is when students learn to apparate, It would be awesome to learn apparation and use it in combat!
@@talon532 Perhaps, seeing as we don't know the incantation for it it could very well be that.

@@talon532 I don't think so. Dumbledore was a master of spells, It looked more like a powerful fire spell but not fiendfyre. The spell is unknown. Also the movie made the spell a lot bigger and deadly. In the book is more like a fire ring, so no, it wasn't fiendfyre.
Most of these ideas are from the books/movies, but some are my own invention, so here we go: The caterwauling charm- Alerto?/Ulaute Perimitum? Homenum Revelio- Reveals hidden humans in a building or room Confundus/Confundo- Confusion charm Capacious Extremeous- Undetectable Extension charm Geminio- The doubling charm Meteleojinx Recanto- charm to end certain magical weather charms Vulnera Sanetur- ( I know this is one of Professor Snapes inventions, but would still be cool to be able to use to heal cuts caused by dark magic) Flagrate- spell to write words in midair Scaldero Imbibium Flagrante curse/Scalding curse- A curse cast on objects that burns or scalds whoever touches them. Adhereo/ Adhereo Perpetua- Learning the sticking charm and the more advanced permanent sticking charm Carpe Retractum- used originally in HP and the Chamber of Secrets games from the early 2000's to pull you towards an object, or an object towards you. I know accio kind of does this, but would be a cool upgrade. Glisseo- Spell to make staircases into a slide. Defodio-Gouging charm Rennervate- Spell to awaken someone from a enchanted sleep Sonorous- Spell to amplify ones voice Silencio- spell to cause an undetectable buzzing in someone's ears nearby in order to not be heard. Maybe we get to learn (as a side quest) Isadora Morganach's Pain taking spell (Doelerum Auferato?)
The ability to throw the Patronus charm like Dumbledore does in the cave in half blood prince and while it probably would be considered more of a transportation method than a spell apparition would be awesome 😅👍🏻

I don't remember Albus using a Patronus in the cave... I don't remember Dementors in the cave, those were Inferi, and the only way to deal with them is with fire, that's why he made the fire storm to save Harry.
I honestly wouldn’t even mind if the maxima amplifier could be used with several different spells. Maybe it’s based on a resource bar and can be used to greatly increase the effect/damage. Adding lethifolds to the game would be actually pretty great. Plus depending on how the story goes or what they do… could be a situation where the dementors are allowed to leave to track down a dangerous criminal so they end up being in the overworld to fight sometimes.
The Patronus Charm along with that Dementor mechanic is a good Idea... It would be an awesome way to add in morality as well. Developers who watch this make sure that you watch the patronus part of the video.
I like most of the spells. But a spell only used to push away spiders that would take away a precious spell slot I think I wouldn’t find myself using it (we have depulso). Lumos maxima love it! I’m annoyed that the Lumos spell goes out when you jump over stuff etc… and those moths in the side quest fly away. So a Lumos ball that is separated from your Wand and body would be useful and if it blinded enemy’s like in Harry Potter Lego it would be a cool combat addition even though we have many stunning spells. Love the idea of oppugno you could learn that from prof Weasley. And I want a underwater world with underwater creatures and a underwater room in the room of requirement so all the water spells you listed are nice additions. Idea of raids is very nice too. I would also like to see a feature where you get one new spell wheel slot (idk what it’s called) that changes with the environment: underwater you have water breathing spells and stuff like that and spells that work underwater (bc most spells are just hot water steams underwater) and in the room of requirement you have the decoration spells and pet spells…
More to the underwater stuff. You could have new potions that let you breathe underwater for a short period of time like in MC. (This might seem unnecessary if you could also use the water boubble spell but I mean we have an invisibility spell and a potion sooooo…) Or we could also get the one spell Harry used in the movie to jump out of the water while he was being pulled down by the Grindelos or whatever they’r named where. You could find new passive trading people in the water people and get stuff you could only get underwater. And as one of the enemy’s the grindelos or whatever could be very annoying in hordes/groups/whatever… mini giant octopus things could be your enemy too (with mini i mean a lot smaller than the giant octopus in the lake but still very big)
But lets be hones, room of requirment does not work like in the film hehe Xd All studends would need that room for themselfs. like in Magical beast to have it in a suitcase!
Changing the weather might be useful for field puzzles. Like if a formation made out of snow/ice filled in a gap that had to be crossed, which would only be doable during the winter. I think it’d be cool to implement magical beasts in the field. Like using a niffler to hunt for treasures & collectibles. Or using a Graphorn to clear a blockade of rocks.
And a unicorn to use magic. It'd be cool to have our mounts used in fights. Add a unicorn mount and we're set. Our power and its can combine and become even more so.
I want them to add defense against the dark arts offensive and defensive spells and I want them to add every charm, dark arts, dark charms, jinxes, hexes, curses, spells and elemental magic in the next game
Here are a few spells I would like to have in the second game : -Electro a long or middle rage electric and stunning spell. Could be improved with a kind of Chain lightning to strike multiple ennemies. -Restrigo or Incarcerem to bind ennemies for a few seconds -Rictus Sempra or Terentalegra or Locomotor Mortis a non violent way to disarm an ennemy. -Silencio to prevent an ennemy to speak or cast spells during a period of time. -Lumus Solem a powerful blinding charm that with enough practice could be focused into a laser. Also good for obliterating and blinding vampires, undead and creatures of the night. -Expecto Patronum !!! A must have of the Wizarding World ! -Diminuendo/Reducto to reduce objects or ennemies. -Amplificatur / Engorgio to enlarge objects or creature -Apparition charm a short distance teleportation spell. -Locatum or The Four point spell to find hidden things instead of using Revelio all the time. -Illusio to make small illusions and distractions -Appare Vestigium to investigate a location -Nebulus variation of Meteologinx to blind ennemies.
And the Homenum Revelio charm (the one where it reveals people instead of objects), could be used to find people who are invisible or obscured. You could have a seeable outline on everybody when you use it. Could be comboed with smoke clouds or the like. And a option for a more darker Langlock or Silencio could be Oscausi which causes a 'person’s mouth to be “sealed shut as though she never had one” making the orifice disappear' (from the Fantastic Beast And Where To Find Them series by Leta Lestrange.)
Thanks for another great video my friend. It would be so cool to see your suggestions and ideas in the sequel one day. The good thing is that we know Chandler is always lurking around on YT and I love the fact that they are listening to the community.
About number 6, this would also be fun to use for satisfaction. Like, when you're close to an area with many enemies you could send the spell to the sky above them to create a storm/thunderstorm as to "set the ground" for your arrival. This could also work as a distraction.
7:25 they do allow you to find out your patronus on wondering world it allows you to join your house automatically it allows you to create your own wand and patronus and if you link it to the game it lets you play as that character
Off the top of my head i want: verdimillious, makes an ord that shoots green sparks, or could be used like Lumos in the old games. Tarantellegra, makes people dance uncontrollably and maybe more vulnerable Spongify, makes a surface bouncy like a trampoline. Scourgify, cleans an object or fill a target with soap bubbles
Spells I want and how it work. Tarrantallegra: It will cause them to dance that will slow them, and sometimes it will cause them to trip like when you bump into npcs. Bat bogey hex: You cat it and some small allies apear. But you could use the mucus adnawseum to cause them to ne stronger. Feind Fire: It would apear and depending on your skill tree it will be stonger and once you cast it you are incapable of casting anyting else and you direct it with your cross hare.
I’d love to see the basic spells taught add hogwarts, also good to learn some spells during quests in the story, but in my opinion exploring has very low rewards… it would be so cool to explore and end up in a cave where there is a side quest to unlock a spell or upgraded spell. I’d also be a fan of more choice in upgrades for spells, this way there is more strategic choice for different builds. There are lots of ways to unlock different types of spell upgrades, through quests, story lines, exploration, rewards etc. Matbe even through experience points the more often you use a certain spell
I have done quite a research on which spells I would love to have in the sequel and going to post my essay here and dwell on the topic. Casting basic spell - stronger sparks of light when we level up or gain a certain attribute value. For example - we get 4 levels of brigthness and stength of basic cast as we gain other 5-10 levels. And who said the basic spell must only be red? For Revelio - to be able to cast it then we are sprinting. White Stupefy as you mentioned in another video - quote "Stronger, White version of the basic attack" - to knock the opponents off their feet Reflecting/Protego Stupefy - just to leave it as it is. This mechanic is great. But the Bubble-style protego seems odd to me - better make it just as in films - a subtle light blue shield, that is triggered, when we press button in perfect timing. When mounting a broomstick - the character to pronounce "Accio broom" - that would be of a great realism. When you're done using the Lumos spell - character might pronounce "Nox" to extinguish the wand. For the Expecto Patronum - sure it's a MUST for the sequel. There can be a non corporeal and corporeal patronus just as in the books. My suggestion is to add a Talent or Assignment, after completing which you can cast corporeal patronus. That would for sure urge players to complete the assignments ASAP and see their patronus form an animal just like in the Pottermore quiz I am quite sure the developers get the access to all variation of patronus forms you can achieve in the quiz and make animations. Some cool feature would be to add a Finite Incantatem spell into the game, but for now I am not quite sure what would be the application of the spell and mechanic attached to it. Anyway, we already have Finite spell in the game pronounced by Main Character when we interact with Medusa potrait in one of the Hogwarts rooms. Ascendio - I would definitely love to see that spell in the game as a Utility spell, to overcome some obstacles instead of being made to use Wingardium Leviosa to move the blocks and climb on them. Pretty sure we can even add a talent for that spell - to increase the distance travelled. Would love to see that spell being used on earth as well as in water :))) Avis ---> Oppugno combination also can make its appearence in the game. Bombarda/Bombarda Maximum - talent point or special assignment would allow us to learn Maxima version to destroy bigger objects, needed to complete quests. Bubble-Head charm - nice to add to underwater side quests, etc... Just a fine idead we cannot ignore. Confringo/Expulso Blasting curse. "Notes: This spell seems to use heat for its explosion, while Expulso uses pressure instead." - Wizarding World Wiki Reducio/Engorgio speels can be used to solve some puzzles and complete quests and solve as a Ulitity spells. Episkey (healing potion) - could serve as a substitution for the wiggenweld potion, leaving to more new potions to come. When we are deleting objects from the room of requirement - I would love to hear the "Evanesco" incantation. Fiend-Fyre - really looking forward to seeing that spells in the game, and as a counter to that spell we could get The Water Orb or something of a kind. Or else, we can get Firestorm spell as Dumbledoore used in the 6th book to create a ring of fire and repell the inferies to rescue Harry. Tool for the game instead of Wiggenweld potion slot - Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder, to get away from the fight or relocate yourself during a fight. Sure, it must be an expendable. Lumos Maxima - as a Blinding spell for enemies. Or when you need to sneak somewhere without being seen and while opponents just trying to regain their eyesight - you go. Along with the existing Dark Magic we can expect Disintegration spell, that Molly used on Bellatrix during The Battle for Hogwarts. With proper VFX effects it could be a badass spell in addition to the Unforgivables. Periculum - I just like this spell from the film xD Piertotum Locomotor - I am sure we can expect this spell and Utility to use together with Ancient wand to make those statues from the Trials to help us in fights. Reducto - option as a great damage dealing curse. Relashio - would love that spell in the game. It was used to relieve the Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon during Escape from Gringotts by Hermione and we know poachers made dragon fights. So we can hope to have and ark (relationship line) where we can save dragons from poachers using this particular spell to blast those huge cuffs off the dragon. Conjunctivitis Curse - Why not, for a character with as a subtle dark magic aptitude. Rictusempra (Tickling Charm)/Tarantallegra (Dancing Feet Spell) - would be nice as a kind of a Control(Disable) spell, with jazzy music for dancing spell like in The Prisoner of Azkaban movie. With such a huge variety of spells described above - I would suggest adding a spells mode switch - from Combat spells with 4 sets as we have in Hogwarts Legacy, to Utility spells with its own 4 sets of spells. Being able to interswitch doubletapping L1 (for example) And of course we still have our essential spell list like Protego, Revelio, etc... In addition to that, I would love the wand core to actually affect our magic. For instance, Pottermore has it that Dragon Heartstring cores are moore suitable for combat and transfiguration magic, able to produce the most flamboyant magic. So these cores can in some way affect the character. Would be cool that the wand actually has the texture of the wood chosen. The Talent for the Dodge roll is great, just leave it there, but - for different characters to be able to choose their way of moving during a duel (I mean dodge animation, basic cast animation, wang holding animation, etc.) This can actually make out character unique in its way. 3-4 sets of moving animations to choose from, please... Another idea is MOBA-like system for telents, having a talent tree to choose from, so that you can get specific talents and make a unique character, not just maxing out all without an alternative way to enhance spell or ability. And if we get to have some quests outside the Hogwarts surroundings - meaning we have to hide our blasting curses from muggles' eyes - I suggest having ability to cast non-verbally, for these kind of stealth missions. And it's just me or someone else confuses Confringo icon with the Bombarda icon in Hogwarts Legacy???
Fuuha you got a knowledge! I xould read it all at one though, sorry. i agree. with the protego bubble spell very much..However i can imagin, that it saves a lot of problema and fun might continue XD
hope the devs are scrolling through the comment section 🙂🙃 if any of that would be implemented - I undoubtedly suppose that all fans are willing to pay the price of waiting for these features to come
Another idea We all remember leaked trailer where the MC drops a ton on weight on goblins by destroying the columns - wish we had even more ways to interact with the environment during battles, just like this.
If there's a new storyline for the sequel, i recommend visions. Basically in said sequel our player could go sleep on their bed and some of the times they do they could get "visions", either of their futuristic enemies, of the storyline, maybe for example in the vision they had there was a clue that would help them with a story or to exploit an enemy's weakness. Much like when Harry went to sleep and had a vision of Nagini attacking Arthur. Would be amazing. Also another idea is that, since the Hogwarts Castle is basically half of the map, inside it, there could be the Devil's Snare and the player would somehow get stuck in it and have to use Lumos Solem to defeat it.
Oppugno would be cool especially given there are always objects lying around like goblin axes, carts in hamlets and such Aguamenti with an upgrade would be amazing and could be used to reduce your burn damage that they could introduce from foes using fiend fyre - or just outside of battle in general I think mastering the homorphus charm as a finishing against werewolves would be great - - a storyline with werewolves would be amazing !
Occulumancy and legillimancy definitely. And while they aren’t spells per say, I think you should be able to choose innate skills, heritage abilities, or gain ritual abilities. Innate skills: metamorphmagus, parseltongue, seer. Heritage abilities: Veela allure, goblin crafting, giant strength and toughness, werewolf form, etc. Ritual abilities: animagus (there could be exclusive quests depending on your chosen animagus form. One for flying forms, one for swimming forms, one for land forms, one for burrowing forms, one for large animals like elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles, one for small forms like insects, small birds, bats, or rodents. Even ones for carnivores or herbivores.)
Nothing is more powerful than revalio. I see enemies, I go other way. Loved the ending at Hogwarts legacy 2 where Sebastian 's son dies in the end protecting the love of his life.
Protego Totalum, Maxima and Diabolica are a MUST! Cause then you can actually choose what kind of a wizard or witch you want to be... The duration of protection charm was not so long in the first game...🌚
I'd like to be able to pick and change the stance of the character along with changing the "skin" on your basic cast. Maybe instead of Red swirls you could get blue lightning or purple smoke or something. I'd also like the unforgivable curses balanced with things like expectro patronus where if you chose the dark spells you can't use the light ones and vise versa
protego maxima is already in the game, when we fought wiktor rookwood, he used a white shield that reflected every spell except the unforgivable ones and it was probably protego maxima
Having a system similar to Magicka's spell combinations could really let a Witch or Wizards creativity shine through. Be a titan task to program though.
I know it could be non-canon spell since it was invited almost 100 years later but I was always fan of Levicorpus in old HP games. I see it works similar to Levioso however it should affect only on human opponents and keep them in the airabout 10 seconds without any spell cancel. That mean attacking with Confringo, Diffindo, Expeliarmus or any basic cast would make damage but keep enemy "rooted" in mid-air. In conclusion: Levioso is more utility spell that works fine in both combat but also on eviroment. However Levicorpus would have only combat and duel application, that helps to focus on single target who is unable to release 😃
For spells that were in previous games I think Spongify would be a good one for some platforming to be added and spells like Verdemillious and Ventus would be fun 😊
My desire isn't so much about gameplay but rather visual. I'd love it if when you swapped gear after you exit the menu your character then performs a "spell" to change your gear rather than just have it automatically applied.
Im curious about how they intend on handling spells at the beginning of hg2. Obviously if we still have access to all our spells from first game that would be canonical but it would make us a bit op in the beginning, but if they have us start over with a completely new arsenal, replacing all the old spells with similar counterparts that we have to learn over the school year then there would be gaps that cant be filled (expelliarmus, accio, depulso, wingardium leviosa, the disillusionment charm, lumos, reparo these spells do not have similar spells that can do the same thing) and they would have to explain in a way that makes sense why we dont use the old spells anymore.
-I like the idea of Raids that you mentioned in number 5 My personal favourites -in Addition to number 9, I think Serpensortia would be cool, to kind of create your own army for longer battles, the snakes could work similar to the plants in HL -Sectumsepra obviously, which kind of would only work if the next game is set in the future (lore-wise) -Rictusempra There are many more, that would make a great addition to the game, also the general spell casting system also goes well / is unlimited to the amount of spells basically. It would also help to bring more content to lections (I feel like they should also take over some content from the old games, there the new spells always came with a bit more to do, a whole challenge room, maybe add homework to the game. As a lot of people mentioned, the second half of the game doesn't have a lot to offer "school-wise") Also they should add more creatures and opponent, like Imps, with different variations and bosses within them, the way they did with the spiders in HL
What I would like to see two things in HL2. One: strange, random monsters/creatures, roaming the far countryside, maybe at night, in the various tombs, deep in the woods far, far from towns/settlements. When exploring the rural areas it would be nice to encounter something strange... a mutant magical beast.. something weird. Maybe even something let loose from some dark wizard hidden lab. Or the result from accumulated magic mutating a beast. Anyway, a cthulhu creature or two would be fun to take down with magic. Two: spiders hiding when you least expect them. Example: you go in and clear out a basement full of spiders. You clear some egg sacks, then turn around and guess what? A huge spider just came down from the ceiling and is about to pounce on you. More surprise attacks.
Top ten must have spells that I would like to see. 1) Lumos Maxima. (make an orb of light float around your body instead of a standard Lumos from the tip of the wand. Useful for cave exploration, dark environmental combat and doesn't turn off when casting revelio also follows u while flying. 2) Reducto. This could easily be used in combat for several types of reasons but also in exploration and to blast open objects or walls etc. I know u can do this with bombarda but Reducto is still an iconic skill. 3) Confundus charm. Perfect for a brief type of silence for casting or stun for enemies. 4) Aguamenti this spell would be visually cool let's face it we all love it in the movie. Cast this spell to engulf an enemy In water and maybe pair with Glacius to solidify opponents. 5) Immobulus this would be great for capturing beasts, combat scenarios etc and I think personally just sounds cooler than arresto momentum. 6) Expecto Patronum for obvious reasons it's bad ass. 7) Incarerous spell would be great for binding adds while fighting dark wizards or maybe have evil bewitched centaurs fighting you. Variety of uses. 8) Fire tornado but also have a talented version to trigger maybe a fiend fire aswell like perhaps u could have a fire tornado and if its talented could be casted as a Tornado and then a dragons head spawns out of the top and comes crashing down on the enemy as a critical finisher something you would expect from Liu Kang in MK as a fatality. 9) SectumSempra I'm sure this would probably be abit hardcore for younger kids playing the game but it can't be denied it would be a sick spell to use in a duel as a finisher or something. 10) Ventus this would be a cool element to Include it seems odd to want fiendfyre and aguamenti without forgetting about wind power aswell. A Tornado would be a neat idea for a finisher of some kind. I would like as a positive possibility to have the Episkey charm to self heal which is maybe less potent than say potions but maybe good if enemies could cause some kind of d.o.t spells like burn or poison or something that would be nice or get rid of potions for healing completely and use Vulnera Sanentur to heal health only and keep the other potions as they are. Mechanics I would love to see Apparate animations used when doing fast travel instead of using the floo flames as it just doesn't look as appealing. Why on earth did we get a cool white type of a teleport/dodge but didn't get to unlock an option to fly like voldemort. Why can we not have black if we wanna be evil and white if we're good and have the option to fly like they do in the movies without needing beasts and brooms all the time. Proper opportunity missed I think. Even just unlock the option to self fly and choose what colour we want it to look like problem solved. 100% need more wands. I think we can all say we all love the wands. We need more customisation for the wands and the outfits should be able to be dyed or something. Thank you for taking the time to read my post hope you find some of my ideas interesting ☺
It might be interesting if they could incorporate some kind of elemental reaction system, similar to what Genshin Impact has, but it wouldn't need to be quite as deep or integral as it is in that game. It could just be a way of ramping up damage and creating interesting reactions. For example, at the moment in Hogwarts, we only have one ice spell, Glacius, which just straight up freezes enemies. Well what if they changed it so that it only slowed enemies down, but if you wanted to actually freeze someone, you'd have to hit them with a water spell first? What if we used Incedio, followed by a wind spell to throw fiery tornadoes at enemies? Something like that could open up some cool combat options. It could also open up new elemental magic spells like wind, water, electric/lightning, etc
with the Patronus you can already link your wizarding world account to the game to get special preset customized bits like ur wand ur house and if they add your patronus then they can use what it is on your account as well.
being able to aparate or if you turn to a dark wizard (with the new morality system) being able to use unsupported flight would be an amazing mechanic to add to the game
Maybe we'll learn Slugulus Eructo (the Slug-Vomiting Charm), Riddikulus (to face Boggarts), Lumos Solem (so we could battle Devil's Snare or try turning trolls into stone), and Immobulus (the spell used of the pixies). Maybe will get to try some tools also, like the Time-Turner Necklace, and the Gillyweed to breath under water. I just hope we'll get to see more mythical creatures in this sequel, like three-headed dogs, Bowtruckles, or Blast-Ended Skrewts.
in one of the Harrypoter games it was used to control a rabbit statue and make it move to get into small places.. heay and solve puzzel and collect beans, but it was fun.
The patronus charm and the Fiendfyre Curse would be nice to have along with being able to personalize the patronus animal wise and honestly I think it’d be interesting if given the option to become an animagus
Something that would make an interesting side quest spell for a sequel would be the ridikulous spell for repelling boggarts. It opens the door for an interesting side quest where you can clear out boggarts for a fellow classmate or other NPC for hidden gear or the like. Another one that didn’t make it into this video would be the ability to use the petrificus totalus spell as an actual combat spell rather than a sneak behind invisible exclusive. Some may argue that too wide a use of petrifikus totalus would make the combat too easy. Well it is much more entertaining than deleting three opponents as once if your high enough level. Finally a great upgrade to combat in the next game would be the ability to apparate all about the combat field. This is just to name a few.
Great video Ben! Your idea about using Lumos to blind foes gave me the idea of a kind of flashbang, our MC casts a much stronger form resulting in a flashbang presenting an exit or escape for us. Fiendfyre perhaps this could be the strongest dark magic fire attack, we shouldn't just be able to master it with 1 upgrade. I want to see how this is used, I've seen that it requires a repeated incantation so it can form & take hold & immense concentration to maintain Locomotor, I'm let down this didn't make it in given how there's statues all over the place, yet we can't animate them, it's weird those knights are only for the trials why couldn't they be in dungeons to? I was looking forward to enchanting knights or other statues to fight for me. I want to see more elemental spells in general & how we can use them not just for combat. We could turn balls of water to ice &smash them whatever upgrades we get amplifies our offence & defence each visually more devastating or a more subdued approach. Oppugno we could get an upgrade that lets us choose what we throw something lethal or nonlethal , ice spikes? arrows? axes? snowballs? pranks? or whimsical spells in general:D we could use demolished carriages/carts or crumbled buildings to launch projectiles. What about trapping an enemy in a crate or sack? That would be a cool way to change the weather or even implement Ghost's use of weather change where you could change the mechanics of the weather. I'd love if foes tried to ambush/raid us & we have to prepare defences or we could just run in & waste them with Protego Diablica.( I'd love to have Protego Horribilis against reducto & other curses, we've never seen that shield in action before) Arania Exumai, of all the spells not to include in this game that had to be one of them? Spiders were all over the place this game & were entirely to frequent, where as more dark witches & wizards could have been put in place. Going so lore heavy can ruin gameplay but small alterations if done right can work well, I hope this spell is learnable in the sequel. I want to control our AM have new spells to learn & wield more dark arts. Thanks for the video Ben & have a nice day :)
i agree, they NEED to give us way cooler and way more powerful spells next time, but i really doubt that we'll get stuff like fiendfyre or orb of water.. if we're lucky we'll get the patronus charm, that's it..
I’d like them to include Reducto and Expulso. Dark wizards use these spells against the player but they’re not available to us to learn. So it would be cool to include them as usable spells. Also immobulus would be an amazing spell to use in combat. Petrificus totalus can be used to incapacitate enemies one at a time, but immobulus could be used to temporarily incapacitate multiple enemies at once in the surrounding area (at a certain range of course) for a short duration.
I can see Obliviate used on Ominis after we send Sebastian to Azkaban. Or used on Sebastian after his sister left him. The Hogwarts Legacy 2 can start from Anne Sallow comes back in town as a powerful Wizard to take over Hogwarts.
Not spell related but I hope they let us sync our characters and their progress from the first game to the second. So the story continues, while also having the option to restart too
But who will be the villain I have an idea of who will be available the son of ran Rock or the son of Victoria wood to spell that I quite want in the game is it different transforms a troll into a rat turn back into a troll
I had an idea of a spell related to ancien magic that would allow us to swap places with the enemi. A quick rotation with the wand, followed by circular rays of ligh arround the caster and the target; then in the blink of an eye the two will switch position. That way we could technically escape the killing curse by getting the target hit in our place... Badass ! Apart from that, the 3 spells that i want to see the most in the sequel are Patronus, Fiendfyre and Aqua incarcerem.
I think many utility spells shouldn't occupy slots. There is already a basic spell and a button to cast an especific spell. Then why don't we get the chance to use the default extended action just pressing the button? For example: pressing the button to a broken object would automatically cast Reparo. And both Lumos and Desillusionment Spell could have a long press button from the directional keypad. Also, Lumos should stay on even after we cast another spell.
That was always my complaint about Reparo like I'm rarely going to need it shouldn't be on my needed spells. While Lumos and Disillusionment spell weren't as big of an issue I wouldn't have mind all the blue spells being something we can just autimatically due.
I completely agree however I think it would be a lot more fun if it was a surprise. Like depending on how you played out the og story or whether you used dark arts or not or your wand should be a deciding factor for a nice surprise.
More variations of transfiguration so it isn’t just a barrel. I remember in Lego Harry Potter they have things like ducklifors and Mellofors that were just fun and amusing
I'm thinking maxima spells should overlap with their normal counterparts so you can have a more powerful effect, but a longer cooldown if you held the face button instead of tapping it. Also, I think you should be allowed to summon beasts into battle and upgrade them with levelling and craftable accessories. Imagine sending a herd of armoured graphorns into battle to straightup trample the final boss while you grab a box of bertie botts and watch the carnage unfold.
I thought for sure we'd get the Patronus charm. I remember when I was installing the game, I did the thing on the Wizarding World's website where you answered some questions and it chose a Patronus for you (I think mine was a cat). It was a bit of a letdown that I couldn't cast it. But their site suggested I was a Hufflepuff, so I went with that and got to see the charm in action at least.
i want the spell to transform like the wizard who turns into a cat and i want to be able to choose a hawk, i want to be able to throw a seed that spawns a tree that heals me i want a spell that lets me walk thru walls and i want a spell that slows time
I would very much like 4 different story lines that are based by the house your in. Not just a few changes like different common rooms and gear and one mission. But instead have it be a totally different story based by the house you get sorted to
I will like more moves for ancient magic like for lightning move we do 3 strikes at the same time same for the throwing one or maybe able create things around us to ensnare enemies
Just so you know, Flipendo was always a canon spell because the game developers asked the author what spells Harry would know in his first year and Flipendo was definitely on the list as a defensive spell
The spell ideas are great, I personally would also like to see more elemental spells besides fire and wind (if you envision the force spells as "wind"). Water/Ice wise we only got the freeze spell and itself doesn't really do damage, unless you upgrade it, but it is pretty underwhelming. It would be nice for it to actually heavily damage an enemy in return for a longer cooldown (like for real, you damn deep freeze someone, that is not healthy and shouldn't be shrugged off!) Or being able to shoot a continous hail of ice spikes, but only with manual aim to counterbalance it and probably a limited duration, like only a few seconds until your wand overheats, basically an ice-wizardry version of a gattling gun, it sounds at least like fun. Also regarding wind, stuff like thunderstorm spells, not just drinking a potion for that. And Earth was totally underrepresented, like at best you could count the plants into this, but these were not spells but items. Maybe something like that you can summon Roots from the ground to temporarily immobilize an enemy as Crowd Control. Or raising Earth Barriers or stuff like that. Also imho, if we look at more animalistic or darker paths, clearly there are NPC wise/lore wise Animagi in Hogwarts Legacy and although we never see necromancy spells, Necromancy itself is an established thing in the Harry Potter Universe, like you can learn so through quests, that Inferi are created by Dark Wizards, they're not just there. And (for whatever reason Dark Wizards can just walk around in Hamlets and Hogsmeade and discuss openly Dark Magic Stuff) I saw Dark Wizard NPC's in Hogsmeade (!) discussing openly how to create Inferis and what advantages they have. So imho it would be nice to be able as player to delve into necromancy and control of beasts or turning into beasts as alternate schools of magic. Just because the Animagi we meet in Legacy are bad doesn't mean, that Animagics itself is evil, so I would count that as nature magic and it depends on the user. Necromancy however is clearly shunned. And that leads me to the next thing, outside of a few quests you can go whereever you want in Hogwarts Legacy and you can do whatever you want. And although for some reason Dark Magic is not as shunned in Hogwarts Legacy as in the books and movies later on (I guess because the big wars of Light vs dark with Grindelwald and Voldemort didn't happen yet), I think there should be a morality system where actions, non-magical and magical, that are shunned have consequences. Like if you break into the quarters of a professor and steal stuff, you could get caught and punished with Detention (either screen fades to black and you loose some XP or something or it is a minigame). Right now you can just openly pick locks of houses or clearly private rooms in front of several witnesses and no one is stopping you from just robbing the whole town and it has entirely no consequences. And you can in open daylight just torture and execute enemies with forbidden curses like Crucio and Avada Kedavra and game mechanics wise no-one bats an eye. Doesn't feel very forbidden to me besides the obviously dark way how you get access to e.g. Crucio. Like people should at best comment like "Thanks that you stopped , but we disapprove of the way how you did it, Dark Magic is corrupting and dangerous and the way to hell is paved with good intentions!" or stuff like that. Or you become a hunted anti-hero just for the usage of dark magic, even if you execute only dark wizards with it, the ministry knows no exception and draws the line in the sand at probiting the usage of dark magic. PS: Regarding dark magic, a spell to siphon life energy of others would be cool.
These are some great ideas! I love the idea of elemental oriented spells and combat also circled around that. Also, I love the idea of necromancy! I love the overall darker and more brutal spells/types of gameplay as an option maybe to the more lighter side.
I love elemental spells. Also imagine if someone cast expecto patronum maxima or protego angelica (as an counter spell to protego Diabolica spell) . those spells would be so so cool.
Three more spells to have: Lapifors - can be used to distract enemies or just to get to where you can't normally Apparation - should I say something else? Magicos Extremos - makes your spells stronger than ever for a short period of time, can only be used when your hero is at low HP (health points, not Harry Potter 😂)
Actually Protego Maxima is for making that spell of Protego , to last a whole lot more longer instead of what you are saying. Cuz Protego is for when we are defending ourselves.
1. Having a pet. We see owls and cats around yet there are no opportunities to have pets why? Can you imagine having magical creatures go into combat with you and a cat to follow you around and feed and water 2. Eating in the great hall 3. Detention I think it would be funny to have to clean caldrons etc 4. Prepare potion ingredients and potions cooking mama style 5. A practice room where we can practice our spell combos against training dummies 6. The ability to become an animgi 7. The ability to take notes in a journal to keep up with different tidbits we learn along the way 8. Actual books in the library. There are a plethora of books JK wrote and they would just need to be added to the library or shops 9. Incarcerous the rope tying spell 10. Not sure if this happens as I haven’t gotten to it yet but actually being captured and needing to escape instead of having to try again as Rockwood wants us alive is there’s got to be a reason for this 11. Being able to chat online and team up in the game with others 12. House points that would be varied based on the server you’re on 13. Opportunities to learn different skills such as ancient runes and magical manipulation of elements or even weapon making 14. The ability to store materials in the ROR this will solve the gear being full every time we come across a box 15. More eye chests 16. Finally the ability to sell potions and other things like ingredients in your own store and around Hogwarts 17. Also basic spells like the cheering or color changing charm
I would love to see a mechanic where there are two versions of a spell. Such as tapping the cast button to do a fast, quick recharge, lower impact version, and holding down the button to do a longer cast, higher output, longer recharge version.
Dementors would be a good addition, and they could function like Inferi. Invulnerable until you hit them with Expecto Patronum and then you can blast them with any spell combo
1. New game plus would make the replay value way more lucrative 2. I agree with all the points you listed 3. A true dark path or paths in general 4. Animagus forms for the player to take on (like Birds, land creatures, etc) with a few options for each like ravens, cats, bats, rats, etc 5. I feel like customization could go a bit further, all the character options look the same and it’s missing the whimsical yet dark theme of the hp universe ……& please set the next game in a more modern time period next time around ( for aesthetics 😩🤣) 6. Expand on the dark arts as it was my favorite part of the game🐍 7. Ehh this might be controversial but less time on cutscenes & and beats unless we can have a pet swooping evil😊
The thing I want most is the ability to become an animagus your animal form could be either a player choice, picked at random or even assigned by your style of play so I you are a good person maybe a stag, unicorn or hippogriff. If you are bad then maybe a snake, doxy or gnome and if you are neutral maybe centaur or a regular animal I personally would think being able to turn into an animal is a must more so with natty onai having the ability to turn into a Gazelle if they need boundaries do it like no flying in Hogsmede
be also cool to add the ministry of magic that allows u to go to all the departments with missions, including the expanding department of mystery of all 5 types of room, including mission with Professor Hecat go into time room help Sebastian Sallow sister as her condition get worst. also add mission with Natsai Onai to go to home land , Amit Thakkar a mission in space room in department of mystery, and Aesop Sharp mission where does one last Auror with help of your character show way of auror. lastly it should start lead up to big war coming with all your friends and all the Professor including head master black fight against enemies in 7th year
I'll love to see Protego Diabolica, Colloshoo (Stickfast Hex ), Diminuendo, and Inflatus. I would also love to see other things we can use as weapons in Hogwarts Legacy 2. Things like the Cobra Lily, Snargaluff, and any new plants and potions would be nice too.
Rictusempra is a spell that got massively snubbed. Although it came from the og games, I would also like to see the return of ectoplasm and Skurge. Locomotor Mortis could also be a good one, as could Incarcerous.
Personally I want more Jinxes like Melofors basically just interesting spells. Oculus repairo is a spell that wouldn't be that useful but maybe you find a broken window somewhere or fix peoples glasses... It's one of those things amongst many that if they put into a hairy potter I would wait and pay for.
i honestly would love to see expecto patronum and have an option to kind of choose your animal that you cast maybe trough a quick quiz or something. also i really want to be an animagus in the game that would be an amazing addition.
Tarantellegra would also be a great spell for a 'good' run of the game. Would be hilarious to suddenly make your enemies forced to dance while trying to combat you.
Haha yes! Would love some of those spells 😆 like the one that grows antlers on the head
And Rictusempra.
@@piotrnowak8725 oh yeah! That one is good too
I LOVE all of these!!
Hahaha agreed
Yes!!! Definitely wanting a morality scale. And love the expecto patronum idea at the end!!
🤞
I think the morality scale should be 1 for each NPC and how it affects them. Like maybe there are bad people, some that can turn out either way and only dislike you if you suddenly turn at the drop of a hat and of course good people. And some will only affect people during that specific moment as nobody else finds out, etc.
@@TheYodelingViking yeah that be cool
@TheYodelingViking
I missed a morality system in the first game and this would fix it.
That’s a fun idea and I’d love to have some silly spells
Love that idea
Like Melofors
Hmm I guess that could be a good usage of the spell 🤔
Yes and like in the video the spell of Lockard. (Forgot the name… obliviate) to let pple forget your where there or did a bad thing etc…
I like the idea of combining spells to create different things, even if just for puzzle solving. Adding fire to water and you get steam - maybe allows you to jump to higher places. Combining spells would work excellently for co-op missions where you need to hit enemies with more than one spell at once or combine spells
Ooo I like that! This could really expand our capabilities and let us be creative
I love this idea!!!
Congrats you just described the game: Magicka
xD
Ventus + Confringo = fire tornado 🌪
Reducto to break solid troll armors.
Baubillious+Ventus= Electric Tornado.
Finistra to shatter glasses, it makes minute sound, very useful during a stealth mission to grant us an entry through a window for example.
Riddikulus.
Incarcerous ( cha cha chains ⛓ 🎶..)
Ascendio it permits the caster to fly high in the air, imagine using it to reach a higher place where brooms aren't allowed; caves for instance ( works also underwater 😉).
Confundo to use in stealth mode.
Impedimenta to use against fast small enemies.
Lumos Solem spell to blind enemies. 😊
I love the idea of combining spell, we can almost hasve that as a secondary Combo system for power moves.
love the ideo of getting to higher plaxex, whitout a broom, yeaha That would be cool. And be able to freeze yourself in the air or have a slowfall, right?
@@marekzyla1659 Yeah these kind of things.
Ascendio then press R1 to use the instantaneous moving (the thing with the white fog).
@@samderiv9508 wow
@@EbbeHjorth-cb2dt Why ?
I think it would be awesome to use more pets as like a weapon/allie in battle against enemies. A Phoenix would be awesome to use!
Yeah more use of creatures you rescued… Great idea! You could use the Rancorn (or whatever it’s Name was) not only as a mount with the debuff that it can’t fly like the other mounts (which makes sense but idk…) but could also use it as a fighting allie. And also the Phoenix to teleport but on short distances (Dumbledore did kid of a similar thing in the movie so idk)
And a feature where you can use spells on brooms or mounts would be very helpful too
I would love to see some more lighthearted spells! All of the spells in hogwarts legacy 1 are very serious but I’d love to see something funny like Anteoculatia
Yeah that be great! There’s lots of those silly spells that can make people dance, grow antlers, switch head for pumpkin etc
@YaoiFan22
I think a feature that affected the gameplay based on you wands wood type or core could be fun and interesting.
For sure! That’d be great
Definitely Dumbledore's firestorm. It was the most epic spell in harry potter.
The firestorm was probably just Fiendfyre but in a more controlled state.
I think if you look across all of our spell wishlists for the sequel, you'll find everyone wants Expecto Patronum and Fiendfyre XD
Most of these ideas are from the books/movies, but some are my own invention, so here we go:
The caterwauling charm- Alerto?/Ulaute Perimitum?
Homenum Revelio- Reveals hidden humans in a building or room
Confundus/Confundo- Confusion charm
Capacious Extremeous- Undetectable Extension charm
Geminio- The doubling charm
Meteleojinx Recanto- charm to end certain magical weather charms
Vulnera Sanetur- ( I know this is one of Professor Snapes inventions, but would still be cool to be able to use to heal cuts caused by dark magic)
Flagrate- spell to write words in midair
Scaldero Imbibium Flagrante curse/Scalding curse- A curse cast on objects that burns or scalds whoever touches them.
Adhereo/ Adhereo Perpetua- Learning the sticking charm and the more advanced permanent sticking charm
Carpe Retractum- used originally in HP and the Chamber of Secrets games from the early 2000's to pull you towards an object, or an object towards you. I know accio kind of does this, but would be a cool upgrade.
Glisseo- Spell to make staircases into a slide.
Defodio-Gouging charm
Rennervate- Spell to awaken someone from a enchanted sleep
Sonorous- Spell to amplify ones voice
Silencio- spell to cause an undetectable buzzing in someone's ears nearby in order to not be heard.
I love the patronus charm and that would also be a good idea with our character customization plus our choices shaping it as we go through the game.
Agree about Argonia Exumai having only one use..
And yes, underwater exploration, quests and spells would be freakin awesome!
But lets be hones, room of requirment does not work like in the film hehe Xd All studends would need that room for themselfs. like in Magical beast to have it in a suitcase!
I'd like to see the Incarcerous Spell added to the arsenal in HL2. I'd love to throw ropes/chains at attackers that stun/strangle them.
That’d be cool!
Here are a few spells I would like to have in the second game :
-Electro a long or middle rage electric and stunning spell. Could be improved with a kind of Chain lightning to strike multiple ennemies.
-Restrigo or Incarcerem to bind ennemies for a few seconds
-Rictus Sempra or Terentalegra or Locomotor Mortis a non violent way to disarm an ennemy.
-Amplificatur / Engorgio to enlarge objects or creature
-Apparition charm a short distance teleportation spell.
-Locatum or The Four point spell to find hidden things instead of using Revelio all the time.
-Illusio to make small illusions and distractions
-Appare Vestigium to investigate a location
-Nebulus variation of Meteologinx to blind ennemies.
Yoo I like these! Great list 👍 though, I’d miss Revelio 😅 it’s kinda part of it now
And the Homenum Revelio charm (the one where it reveals people instead of objects), could be used to find people who are invisible or obscured.
Appreciate it, Pete!
Off the top of my head i want:
verdimillious, makes an ord that shoots green sparks, or could be used like Lumos in the old games.
Tarantellegra, makes people dance uncontrollably and maybe more vulnerable
Spongify, makes a surface bouncy like a trampoline.
Scourgify, cleans an object or fill a target with soap bubbles
Omg I can hear the sound of Spongify in my head right now 😅
@@BenjaminSnow i totally forgot the most essential spell they need to add
Mobiliarbus it moves trees
Matbe even through experience points the more often you use a certain spell
yeeah what a great idias! Better then gold! To learn a new spell in that cave or mage him more powerfull! How brilliant!
White Stupefy as you mentioned in another video - quote "Stronger, White version of the basic attack" - to knock the opponents off their feet
Reflecting/Protego Stupefy - just to leave it as it is.
That would for sure urge players to complete the assignments ASAP and see their patronus form an animal just like in the Pottermore quiz
I am quite sure the developers get the access to all variation of patronus forms you can achieve in the quiz and make animations.
Would love to see that spell being used on earth as well as in water :)))
Avis ---> Oppugno combination also can make its appearence in the game.
"Notes: This spell seems to use heat for its explosion, while Expulso uses pressure instead." - Wizarding World Wiki
Reducio/Engorgio speels can be used to solve some puzzles and complete quests and solve as a Ulitity spells.
Or when you need to sneak somewhere without being seen
and while opponents just trying to regain their eyesight - you go.
Along with the existing Dark Magic we can expect Disintegration spell, that Molly used on Bellatrix during The Battle for Hogwarts. With proper VFX effects it could be a badass spell in addition to the Unforgivables.
Periculum - I just like this spell from the film xD
Piertotum Locomotor - I am sure we can expect this spell and Utility to use together with Ancient wand to make those statues from the Trials to help us in fights.
Being able to interswitch doubletapping L1 (for example)
And of course we still have our essential spell list like Protego, Revelio, etc...
The Talent for the Dodge roll is great, just leave it there, but - for different characters to be able to choose their way of moving during a duel (I mean dodge animation, basic cast animation, wang holding animation, etc.)
This can actually make out character unique in its way.
I xould read it all at one though, sorry. i agree. with the protego bubble spell very much..However i can imagin, that it saves a lot of problema and fun might continue XD
yeah and the colour of a casting spell, that is a brilliant too!
yhea, ans i love that with lumos and nox, too!
hope the devs are scrolling through the comment section 🙂🙃
if any of that would be implemented - I undoubtedly suppose that all fans are willing to pay the price of waiting for these features to come
Another idea
We all remember leaked trailer where the MC drops a ton on weight on goblins by destroying the columns - wish we had even more ways to interact with the environment during battles, just like this.
What about the bubble head charm!! Cast that and swim underwater add new places to explore and interactions with merpeople.
Ooo I’d love that!
Orb of water is actually called aqua carcarem btw 😊
Ohh haha I’m too used to Magic Awakened 😅
Oppugno would be cool especially given there are always objects lying around like goblin axes, carts in hamlets and such
Aguamenti with an upgrade would be amazing and could be used to reduce your burn damage that they could introduce from foes using fiend fyre - or just outside of battle in general
I think mastering the homorphus charm as a finishing against werewolves would be great - - a storyline with werewolves would be amazing !
Omg I’d love a werewolf quest line
Leglimens=foe apparates behind u and your carachter cast spell to stunn him without u doing it. And a talent that makes the spell do more damage
Some of these spells I didn't know about. It would definitely add a sense of emersion. That as well as a morality system.
Protego Totalum, Maxima and Diabolica are a MUST!
Cause then you can actually choose what kind of a wizard or witch you want to be... The duration of protection charm was not so long in the first game...🌚
For sure! And the regular protego is fast, the maxima takes time
I'd like to be able to pick and change the stance of the character along with changing the "skin" on your basic cast.
In conclusion:
Levioso is more utility spell that works fine in both combat but also on eviroment.
However Levicorpus would have only combat and duel application, that helps to focus on single target who is unable to release 😃
For spells that were in previous games I think Spongify would be a good one for some platforming to be added and spells like Verdemillious and Ventus would be fun 😊
Oh man I can still hear the sound of Spongify in my head 😅
ME TOO XD@@BenjaminSnow
ehat the spells do?
My desire isn't so much about gameplay but rather visual. I'd love it if when you swapped gear after you exit the menu your character then performs a "spell" to change your gear rather than just have it automatically applied.
That’s a cool idea 🤔
If what spells you suggested came to the sequel I think the name should be “Secrets of Charms and Curses” something like that
-I like the idea of Raids that you mentioned in number 5
My personal favourites
-in Addition to number 9, I think Serpensortia would be cool, to kind of create your own army for longer battles, the snakes could work similar to the plants in HL
-Sectumsepra obviously, which kind of would only work if the next game is set in the future (lore-wise)
-Rictusempra
There are many more, that would make a great addition to the game, also the general spell casting system also goes well / is unlimited to the amount of spells basically.
It would also help to bring more content to lections (I feel like they should also take over some content from the old games, there the new spells always came with a bit more to do, a whole challenge room, maybe add homework to the game. As a lot of people mentioned, the second half of the game doesn't have a lot to offer "school-wise")
Also they should add more creatures and opponent, like Imps, with different variations and bosses within them, the way they did with the spiders in HL
Great wishlist
Nice list!
Exactly!
being able to aparate or if you turn to a dark wizard (with the new morality system) being able to use unsupported flight would be an amazing mechanic to add to the game
That’s be cool
Maybe we'll learn Slugulus Eructo (the Slug-Vomiting Charm), Riddikulus (to face Boggarts), Lumos Solem (so we could battle Devil's Snare or try turning trolls into stone), and Immobulus (the spell used of the pixies).
Maybe will get to try some tools also, like the Time-Turner Necklace, and the Gillyweed to breath under water.
I just hope we'll get to see more mythical creatures in this sequel, like three-headed dogs, Bowtruckles, or Blast-Ended Skrewts.
piertotum locomotor... at first I was like eh but the way you explained using it.... HAS MY VOTE!!!!
🤙
in one of the Harrypoter games it was used to control a rabbit statue and make it move to get into small places.. heay and solve puzzel and collect beans, but it was fun.
Yeah Boggarts could be a lot of fun!
I want to see how this is used, I've seen that it requires a repeated incantation so it can form & take hold & immense concentration to maintain
Locomotor, I'm let down this didn't make it in given how there's statues all over the place, yet we can't animate them, it's weird those knights are only for the trials why couldn't they be in dungeons to?
I'd love if foes tried to ambush/raid us & we have to prepare defences or we could just run in & waste them with Protego Diablica.( I'd love to have Protego Horribilis against reducto & other curses, we've never seen that shield in action before)
Arania Exumai, of all the spells not to include in this game that had to be one of them? Spiders were all over the place this game & were entirely to frequent, where as more dark witches & wizards could have been put in place. Going so lore heavy can ruin gameplay but small alterations if done right can work well, I hope this spell is learnable in the sequel.
I want to control our AM have new spells to learn & wield more dark arts. Thanks for the video Ben & have a nice day :)
Would love Sectumsempra and I think Reducio would be a nice spell too
Sectumsempra doesn't exist yet. Snape invented it, and he's not going to be born for another 50+ years.
i agree, they NEED to give us way cooler and way more powerful spells next time, but i really doubt that we'll get stuff like fiendfyre or orb of water.. if we're lucky we'll get the patronus charm, that's it..
One can hope 🤞
@@BenjaminSnow true dat
Lumos Maxima could become an orb that follows you, so you can actually combat in the dark
Yes! I love the immobulus idea
I can see Obliviate used on Ominis after we send Sebastian to Azkaban. Or used on Sebastian after his sister left him. The Hogwarts Legacy 2 can start from Anne Sallow comes back in town as a powerful Wizard to take over Hogwarts.
I feel like she can even eventually become a villain.. Sebastian more likely, but I feel like there might be more development in the future
That would be an interesting spell mechanic
As we saw in the early trailers for Hogwarts Legacy, we already had Oppugno, but they renamed it as Ancient Magic Throw.
Btw the spells you said were supposed be in the game but the didn’t get added but they are still in the code
I would definitely want every spell you named in this video to be in the game, and to be able to choose the animal form of a patronus❤
💛 that be really cool, though not sure which animal I’d choose 🤔 the patronus that Wizarding world website gave was some dumb chicken 😅
I completely agree however I think it would be a lot more fun if it was a surprise. Like depending on how you played out the og story or whether you used dark arts or not or your wand should be a deciding factor for a nice surprise.
@@SnakeSalsa guess that could be interesting too
More variations of transfiguration so it isn’t just a barrel. I remember in Lego Harry Potter they have things like ducklifors and Mellofors that were just fun and amusing
And also some silly spells would be fun too like pumpkin head, the spell that makes people sing etc
Oh that’d be cool! Those were super satisfying!
Just so you know, Flipendo was always a canon spell because the game developers asked the author what spells Harry would know in his first year and Flipendo was definitely on the list as a defensive spell
Well that’s the point.. now it is. But before it appeared in the first HP game, it technically didn’t exist.
The spell ideas are great, I personally would also like to see more elemental spells besides fire and wind (if you envision the force spells as "wind").
Water/Ice wise we only got the freeze spell and itself doesn't really do damage, unless you upgrade it, but it is pretty underwhelming.
It would be nice for it to actually heavily damage an enemy in return for a longer cooldown (like for real, you damn deep freeze someone, that is not healthy and shouldn't be shrugged off!)
Or being able to shoot a continous hail of ice spikes, but only with manual aim to counterbalance it and probably a limited duration, like only a few seconds until your wand overheats, basically an ice-wizardry version of a gattling gun, it sounds at least like fun.
Yeah that would be spectacular 🤩
Three more spells to have:
Lapifors - can be used to distract enemies or just to get to where you can't normally
Apparation - should I say something else?
Magicos Extremos - makes your spells stronger than ever for a short period of time, can only be used when your hero is at low HP (health points, not Harry Potter 😂)
Protege diabolica should be a dad arts version of incindio that you can only learn after perfecting incindeo and becoming a student of the dark arts
Actually Protego Maxima is for making that spell of Protego , to last a whole lot more longer instead of what you are saying.
Cuz Protego is for when we are defending ourselves.
1. Having a pet. We see owls and cats around yet there are no opportunities to have pets why? Can you imagine having magical creatures go into combat with you and a cat to follow you around and feed and water
2. Eating in the great hall
3. Detention I think it would be funny to have to clean caldrons etc
4. Prepare potion ingredients and potions cooking mama style
5. A practice room where we can practice our spell combos against training dummies
6. The ability to become an animgi
7. The ability to take notes in a journal to keep up with different tidbits we learn along the way
8. Actual books in the library. There are a plethora of books JK wrote and they would just need to be added to the library or shops
9. Incarcerous the rope tying spell
10. Not sure if this happens as I haven’t gotten to it yet but actually being captured and needing to escape instead of having to try again as Rockwood wants us alive is there’s got to be a reason for this
11. Being able to chat online and team up in the game with others
12. House points that would be varied based on the server you’re on
13. Opportunities to learn different skills such as ancient runes and magical manipulation of elements or even weapon making
14. The ability to store materials in the ROR this will solve the gear being full every time we come across a box
15. More eye chests
16. Finally the ability to sell potions and other things like ingredients in your own store and around Hogwarts
17. Also basic spells like the cheering or color changing charm
This is a great wishlist! Some of these would make for even more immersive rpg experience 👍
I would love to see a mechanic where there are two versions of a spell. Such as tapping the cast button to do a fast, quick recharge, lower impact version, and holding down the button to do a longer cast, higher output, longer recharge version.
Oh yeah! The charged versions of same spells would be cool!
@@BenjaminSnow Especially if the character says the enhanced spell
Dementors would be a good addition, and they could function like Inferi. Invulnerable until you hit them with Expecto Patronum and then you can blast them with any spell combo
Exactly! A bit unconventional, but I still would be fine with that
I think it all depends on what the story line is, is what we decide the Spells to add or like to see but you got a good liw5
Our favourite Snowman is back once again!
1. New game plus would make the replay value way more lucrative
2. I agree with all the points you listed
3. A true dark path or paths in general
4. Animagus forms for the player to take on (like Birds, land creatures, etc) with a few options for each like ravens, cats, bats, rats, etc
5. I feel like customization could go a bit further, all the character options look the same and it’s missing the whimsical yet dark theme of the hp universe ……& please set the next game in a more modern time period next time around ( for aesthetics 😩🤣)
6. Expand on the dark arts as it was my favorite part of the game🐍
7. Ehh this might be controversial but less time on cutscenes & and beats unless we can have a pet swooping evil😊
Great points! And ability to become an Animagus would be 🔥
The thing I want most is the ability to become an animagus your animal form could be either a player choice, picked at random or even assigned by your style of play so I you are a good person maybe a stag, unicorn or hippogriff. If you are bad then maybe a snake, doxy or gnome and if you are neutral maybe centaur or a regular animal I personally would think being able to turn into an animal is a must more so with natty onai having the ability to turn into a Gazelle if they need boundaries do it like no flying in Hogsmede
Absolutely! This would definitely involve a quest with Nattie
I think having your beasts be a companion that you can have on your travels would be cool and allow you to ride certain ones
For sure
I think we should be able to actually apparate in the sequel
That could be very handy
Will be cool if add dlc way of voldemort, when he learn forbidden spells, will open chamber of secrets and divide own soul on seven pieces
be also cool to add the ministry of magic that allows u to go to all the departments with missions, including the expanding department of mystery of all 5 types of room, including mission with Professor Hecat go into time room help Sebastian Sallow sister as her condition get worst. also add mission with Natsai Onai to go to home land , Amit Thakkar a mission in space room in department of mystery, and Aesop Sharp mission where does one last Auror with help of your character show way of auror. lastly it should start lead up to big war coming with all your friends and all the Professor including head master black fight against enemies in 7th year
I think we definitely need:
Reducto
Serpensortia
Expecto Patronum
Obliviate
Confundo
Duro
Incarcerous
I'll love to see Protego Diabolica, Colloshoo (Stickfast Hex ), Diminuendo, and Inflatus. I would also love to see other things we can use as weapons in Hogwarts Legacy 2. Things like the Cobra Lily, Snargaluff, and any new plants and potions would be nice too.
Yeah it would look spectacular!
I think hastio would be a good charm for movement that makes you faster. As used in one of the movies
I don’t remember it from the movies 🤔 but yeah, could become handy
maybe they could add more classes like runes or something like that it would be a nice touch
Rictusempra is a spell that got massively snubbed.
Although it came from the og games, I would also like to see the return of ectoplasm and Skurge.
Locomotor Mortis could also be a good one, as could Incarcerous.
These could be fun!
If we can even choose our patronus and/or Animagus that would be amazing!
