Well I could not move him from the center.... and I'm 20 years younger, 10 kg heavier ex-powerlifter. Man..... the advantage you get having strong hands is incredible.

I did this with water to cure my wrist tendonitis. It really fills your hand with blood. I never thought of moving up to rice to actual grow the hand. Great video!
I used to do this for rock climbing for strength, but also for injury prevention and tendonitis. It's pretty difficult really, especially the negatives. I'm going to have to start again.
This is such a great exercise! I use a similar exercise for my climbing routine. It’s a very healthy exercise to work the tiny muscles down your forearms to your finger tips.

I just filled up a bucket of rice and tried this out and its incredible. Did 3 sets of 10 squeezes/extensions and my forearms are burning. Its also a million times better than a little foam stress ball.

Is it on the top of your wrist? I have a painful mf in my right wrist and it gives me hell when I do olympic lifts and presses. If this works for you I will definitely try it for me.
Louie Simmons (Westside) spoke about this once, using wet sand instead of rice to strengthen the hand and grip in a bucket. Same concept...probably cheaper too
that is a good exercise for the joints and tendons of the hands and forearms, I use that but with sand, the sand is finer but heavier, especially if you moisten it a little bit👌
