I've had mine for 15 years, and I love it still. (though the 1.8l) Lived on farm for the first 5 years of its life and it loved the mud. Original clutch, have NEVER had to change a bulb EVER! These things are unkillable. Went to trade it in and they offered me $1000, I'd rather have the car, that was 5 years ago... Never getting rid of it.
@ozayevable I still have it. It's 22 now. Still original clutch. 266000kms. Still unkillable. Depends where you're buying, places that have snow they are full of rust, no snow here so ok. There are better choices for fuel economy too. As long as you don't expect much life from it, it's a great first car. Don't tip it over though lol. There are better choices nowadays to be honest, I guess it isn't the safest either. Even so, I'll never get rid of mine, when the timing belt or the clutch goes I'll say goodbye, but not before then.
I have the 2001 Pinnin and whilst fuel consumption is not great it really is fun to drive. I have off road and hard surfaces here on the farm and it really is still capable and relatively quick but as I mentioned the fuel useage is not good. Thumbs up, she is fun to drive👍
The only thing you can do with a Pi nin is just to dream about the place where a Jimny can reach. Pinin is just a cheap on road replica of the Pajero, a big fail. On road, yes, it's better than jimny, but off road.. not even close. Stop being British and think like a normal human being.
@@robertpopescu9652 First of all I’m not British I’m Middle Eastern form Qatar exactly, Secondly it’s called here Pajero io , Third I drove both of them and yet even though the Jimny has a better structure body frame the io has better drive train and off-road capabilities due to its advanced 4wd system. Fourth its been 5 years man I already sold the car and bought a brand new Lexus GX460 and sold it and Now i have a 2019 Rav4 hybrid and 2020 Hilux.

Would you recommend this car as a first car? I love how this car costs less than 1000$.

@Turbocat1984 I'm considering turning this into an adventure mobile, would you say after 10-15 yrs the unkillable label still sticks?

True. I get 10km/L or 10L/100km.
I miss these old mini kei hard core offroaders. Less to pay and cheap, sadly they killed delicas and other cool cars when it reached 2011
My whole take on these reviews, why don't reviewers put some reasonable off road wheels on the car so you can give it an honest review
thank you for the video and the review is very informative . The back seats are spongy but the space is very small. not for adults'
how could be tow capability in the farm? i ve to tow a trailer full of olives 4-600 kg. offroad but not mud
Hello anybody knows a compatible cd stereo player replacement for pajero pinin?

That's called sarcasm.
Not now
It's better than the Suzuki jimny.
Yes, sadly in my country they ban and never registers import cars
Protectionism on the expense of the consumer - as always. If you rated car friendly countries, Singapore would be the worst and NewZeeland the best.
A reasonable comparison is the suzuki grand vitara 1999-2005 the 1.6 or 2.0 cc.
