- End of the year purge! Everyday in December I'm letting go... of stuff! Things I no longer use that have been collecting dust for too long. Stuff, stuffed into drawers, closets, cute decorative containers and boxes, a collection of neglected excess.
So my mission is to downsize, everyday of December. Some days might be only a few items, other days it will be bags loaded with stuff.

I feel like you're the only RUclipsr being practical at this point. I see a lot with ginormous collections doing haul after haul! Good job!
I absolutely agree with you when you said "is pinksofoxy growing up?" Because you definitely have! Even though I love watching RUclips for all kinds of tutorials, decor, and DIY ideas, I think for the beauty vloggers on here who solely rely on RUclips as their income, constant hauling and wasting money shouldn't be considered a "job." You've proven that you don't have to frivilously spend thousands of dollars to have a great channel!
Your decluttering and less stuff, less stress message has been so inspirational to me this year. I have decluttered my whole house and feel like a weight has been lifted. I went from 4 large drawers of makeup to two small drawers of makeup that I would eventually like to get down to one. I'm committed to not buying lots of stuff and to continue staying on top of clutter.
After watching all your purge videos I now really don't know whats more interesting, watching hauls or purges.
I usually scroll through my subscriptions and add them to my watch later list then view all of them. But this video I immediately clicked on because I LOVE your decluttering and minimizing videos! So sad when the video ended because I could watch you all day long. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more videos, especially the end of year inventory :)

It is really amazing when we step back & look at what we have that we do not need. My husband & I were forced to downsize after moving in with my mother. My husband lost his job of 22 years & is making significantly less money at his new job. I now have one smaller makeup case with all that I use. I do just fine with what I have now & it has been truly liberating to be free of so much clutter and things I never needed in the first place. I guess sometimes we need a little push to do so:)
I always thought I was the only one who got excited about decluttering!!!

I have been going back and watching all of your declutter vids for inspiration. I feel like I know your collection better than mine now, haha! Guess that means I had best get cracking on my own decluttering.

I like the idea of having less, I think we tend to hoard things away and save special things like jewellery, favourite perfumes, etc for "special" occasions, but I've realized over the years that if it makes you happy, enjoy it as often as you can.
Thank you for these uploads! After recovering from depression, I recently started cleaning my room and it's so hard for me to stick to the task and to let go of my things. Your videos are very helpful to me and I'm finally making good progress! :)

I went through my makeup collection yesterday and I got rid off many things. I realized I don't have much after watching all your stuff. That makes me feel good. I still think I need to control myself when it comes to makeup. That will be one of my many goals this coming new year.

I adore these videos. So many influential people on RUclips just make me want to buy buy buy and you make me feel like my little collection of makeup (like one makeup bag tiny) is actually piratical and good! Keep the videos coming and looking forward to when you are settled into your cozy cottage.
i did my makeup inventory today and i'm in a bit of shock. it took me 4 hours and i feel terribly embarrassed about how much i've been hoarding but i'm glad i did the inventory because it's a huge wake up call. every time i feel too lazy to go through my stuff, i watch one of your videos and it motivates me!

Super Inspirational Christine! We've moved into a 2 bed flat from a large 3 bed house, and we are so clogged down with too much 'stuff'! So watching these purge videos really helps spur me on to get purging for myself! Thank you! :D xx
This makes me fear moving. I try to clean out my belongings twice a year, but after four years of college and being away at grad school now, I feel as if I've accumulated too much stuff. I wish I had easier ways of getting ride of my stuff. I usually take things to the good will.
You have given me inspirations and courage to do the same. Ever since starting watching your purging videos and decluterring videos I started to change my lifestyle. I, too have excess of things that get neglected and I keep buying, but I am on a mission to do the same. Thank you for your videos .
I have an 8 drawer (tall lingerie) dresser outside of my bathroom that I keep all kinds of makeup and body lotions etc. I went through it this past weekend and threw away a bag full of old or non wearable stuff. I organized and I can't believe how much space I opened up in this dresser. Now the trick is NOT to fill it back up again!
I did treat myself to my first MAC lipstick. An iconic one....Rebel. What can I say?

Hiya Kim from the uk again lol I too have gotten rid of all my pink girly stuff and replaced it with more grown up and chic things everthing from xmas decs to furniture, clothes, jewellery and soft furnishings too. I must say it really is very liberating you can also make a lot of money to when you sell the things you do not want. Once again thanx for sharing x.
I regularly do the same with my makeup, I don't like having things I don't use! Looks like a lot of us girls go through that phase in which we're excited and buy a lot and then it calms down and we realize we have let ourselves go!!

I really enjoyed your downsizing video. Sometimes I will put things away in the garage to donate for a week before actually going through with it -- just to make sure. Most of the time I don't get back into it to take things out. I know it's hard to let go but it's good to change after a few years. I give myself permission now to let go of things. Some things I've had for 20 years or more just taking up space.

Wow! You might regret getting rid of some items. Best to hold on to them in bags in the garage or storage unit for awhile. I decided to keep a much needed sweater I didn't think I'd wear and I dug it out and wore it when it got cold again.
