There is Music written for Pedal Piano, but one thing you can do on the Pedal Piano that you can't do on a Standard Piano very well is play Organ Repritore.

pedal piano drowns out most of the fine keyboard work. maybe a little eq for the recording would clean it up.

That's what I was going to say. Most of the poorer recordings of Cameron's on YT are not the performance but horrible mic placement and/or eq/mixing.

And a crapload of compression. The pedalboard takes up most of the headspace as well.
