I said it before and I'll say it again one of things I love most about this series is the relationship between Jonathan and Jordan; you can really tell how much John loves his brother. I really hope in the future they don't do anything to ruin that, like a good twin evil twin storyline. Also it's really a shame the amount of hate Jordan gets. Personally I really like the character and how flawed he is. With his social anxiety, not fitting in at school and all around shy/awkward demeanor the show really emphasizes Jordan's behavior "issues" that make him "different" from Johnathan. The boys' closeness though I think provides a good counter balance and shows how important it is to have that one person you can count on. Also their relationship highlights the bond siblings especially TWINS often share.
Having Fraternal twin boys, 1 pretty athletic and 1 on meds for ADHD and anxiety (sound familiar, Kent boys to a tee, but my sons are younger) ‘, they got the twin bro relationship down perfectly! Excellent job by the writers and excellent job acting from Alex and Jordan!
I think Jordan truly loves Jon but he has trouble showing in the same way Jon shows it with Jordan. Jordan started putting himself in the way of danger to keep Jon safe after getting his powers and even though he's not good with words, you can see he tries to be there for Jon but he also has to deal with his mental health on top of developing powers in painful ways and keeping himself from seriously hurting someone. I think Jon's his trigger in a lot of ways, because his powers were at the strongest when Jon was in danger or hurt. I really like their dynamic cause it reminds me of me and my brother's dynamic, the socially isolated one with slightly unstable mental health and the protective older athletic one
It’s cause he’s the more emotional brother and sometimes that can across as whiny, especially when more pressing matters, such as a villain threat, are involved. However, Season 2 is showing that Jon can be just as emotional and Rash as Jordan is sometimes. So it’s balancing out between them. It’s realistic, especially for teenagers boys
