@@philliphazeldine1940 . Bit harsh on AB. He has a tactic that brings out different "qualities" in those being audited. FP is more cerebral where AB is more knockabout. In spite of that FP is the best I've seen.

As a photographer myself. A friend of mine - after I debated that police were surely professional smart people - told me to watch your videos and see how many of your videos I needed to watch before I would realise that Police are stupid, unprofessional and inept.. I concede it took me 3 of your videos, and now I watch them for shear fun and entertainment.. You are indeed doing an amazing civic duty by challenging these muppets in your own unique manner..
One day I was walking with a politician who was (is) reknown for his activism... he having been jailed a couple of times. I was getting a little paranoid that we would be arrested so I proposed we dodge down a side track and he turned to me and said... "never overestimate the police" and he was so right. The police stayed at the boom gate and were surprised that we had been right through the site that was supposed to have been cordoned off... we had entered the site half an hour before they came on duty.
I find it astounding that the average response time is measured i minutes, while a report of a burglary in progress takes two days, TWO BLOODY DAYS!
Its faster to bring your camera outside and record the public street than it is to call 9-9-9.
I have one ongoing in London. Organised crime, wanted for homicide. Still waiting from last week.

Hi Focus Pocus. I've been watching your video's and just want to point out to other photographers on here who do "audits" that you are an example to follow of how to speak to officers, security staff even the military. You always speak calmly and respectfully whilst refusing to be intimidated. You don't belittle them by name calling or use bad language. A few other RUclipsrs should learn from this instead of just wanting to antagonize and cause problems by being disrespectful to people.

It's a skill. I wish I could be as eloquent and calm if I was in the same situation. He knows hls stuff, that's also key, it's a lot easier to be confident in your position when you do.
I really love how you present the story of the interaction with supplemental static shots and witty music. Clearly you are a master of shot composition. I imagine it takes more time to do but I must say, from the viewer's perspective, it significantly increases engagement. I hope you continue to do so.

burglars beware from now on, these guys respond in minutes.
HA HA HA. It took them 2 days to respond to a call from 85 year old mother, when someone shattered the frame and windows in her kitchen and broke into the house. Then a further 7 days for someone to call to see if there was any evidence, by which time the evidence had been destroyed by the weather.

I'm old enough to remember when Cheshire Police has Morris Travellers. They were totally non-agressive, and therefore I respected them 100%. What the UK police have become today is beyond belief to me!

On a serious note, well done for not giving out your name and details. You politely explained that you were there recreationally. From that point, you should really have been left alone.
For anyone who doesn't know, there are only two scenarios in which you are obliged to give your name to a cop.
1. If you're stopped while operating a motor vehicle on the highway. (Not a push bike)
2. If the officer tells you the crime that you're under suspicion of. (At this point I would also ask for the specific crime number)
In all other situations you are within your rights to decline to answer.
Always be polite, nobody likes a gobby shite.!
You Sir, are the king of auditors, you let them dig a hole for themselves then you let them have it, your videos should be used for police training on public photography, and general interaction with people.

Focus pocus,s calm polite approach when being quizzed by ignorant cops is his best weapon as its like a safety barrier where you refuse to be irked and start swearing or aggressive which is all on film as I've seen many small minded cops try to escalate then can make an arrest but focus nullifies that.
I'm begging you please don't give any clues i love when they get so confused after you tell them what you doing. "I'm doing this as a hobby" ..."ahh hmm hmm". So much fun watching them trying so hard to say something clever haha

I remember the programme well, from the first 2 bars of the music, “Z cars” back in the days when the police were reasonably respectful and professional. Only asked pertinent questions and only made you “fall down the stairs” if you got taken to the plod shop and either got mouthy or committed a crime against hyenas. Back in the days when the IRA were active and a camera wasn’t a lethal weapon that put the fear of shite up anybody in a uniform!
lol a phone call purely to let you know they know who you are and they are soooo very clever. It's just their way of attempting to make you back off from carrying out an activity they don't like. love your vids and don't ever stop holding them up to the light.

Here's an idea to stop this sort of stuff from happening.
1. national training curriculum for security guards, in which the rights of the public are clearly explained.
2. security guards who study this curriculum and call the police because someone is taking photographs, are immediately arrested and charged with wasting police time.
3. Police officers who respond favourably to such calls from security guards, are systematically charged with misconduct in public office.
I guarantee you: this idiotic harassment of everyone with a f*****g camera would soon be a thing of the past.

I love your relaxed style yet you still make your point.Uncomfortable with the Company ringing the police with your reg: number reporting you for doing nothing wrong.Can they run your number when no crime is committed, surely some data protection rule break also are they allowed to access your phone number again for no reason other than to let you know how clever thy are.
