00:53 I would have to disagree my friend.. It would Absolutely be worth it to retore ANY fireblade, let alone the iconic 954, this machine was way ahead of its time and arguably helped set the standard for all future lter bikes. It was (and arguably still is) a unicorn in a drove of donkeys. Such an amazing bike.
If it’s OEM, you will never find a 13mm anything on a Japanese bike. They believe in Japanese culture that it’s an unlucky number. Love the channel and your content. Ciao Paesano!
My Honda 954 has a gear problem? I have to miss 4th gear as it ratchet/cranks in it. In other words it wont enter 4th. It has been like this for around 5 years now. What happened? The gear shift pedal at the foot hit a stone on the move and thus damaged the mechanism somehow. I am quite used to it and pass by the 4th usually with no problems. Great channel Thanks.
hello,i'm mauro,a question:is it possible to change the exaust to adapt the bike to the restriction of euro 3?or do you know way to resolve the euro problem?thanks, mauro
Ciao Mauro, do the euro restrictions apply to a 20 years old bike? I thought after 20 years the bike is considered a classic, but I've been gone for a long time. So in the end I'm not quite sure 😕
nice job albe you saved her. but... i dont thnk you will find 13mm nuts and bolts on a japanese. bike maybe something to do about bad luck. 954 rr ligther then many 600's and Baba sans latest fireBlade
My life is worth more than $3500, so that’s why the 2021-RRR-SP is in the garage!!!! Absolutely Sublime!!! Rather be riding than wrenching!!! Motorcycling is about safety first, always value your life/family, never ride inferior motorcycles.

I have 2 954s I'm working on and I'm soooooooo excited about this because there is not alot of builds on these I'll take any spare parts lmao😅😅
I also have 2 954rr’s 😂
I got one and am building spare parts 😂 just in case.
That's a good idea 👍
Nice that will be a bargain for somebody
Thank you for preserving this great machine. I am still trying to find one in Germany.
Great project albe! I’ll be following your progress from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Thanks Erik 😀👍
I own a 2000 929rr and love it ,timeless classic 👌
Agree 👍
Just bought one 1 month ago! Wish you the best!
Thanks Tiago 👍
Hi have done on it my cbr looks new full restoration aswell I love it 😻
Nice!!! This is such a good looking bike even after 20 years
This is a great first bike, it was my first bike! I now own 2!
Also once u get to the pistons if they need replacement u should be able to use 04-07 1000rr pistons, should be a cheaper find
nice info! Yep this bike is famous for piston slaps and htev noises. Would let her warm up a few minutes before setting off
I love that bike! Grande!
What a project Albe! When you told me about this I didn’t really understand how much work there was needed! Well, this will be fun to follow dude!
More I take it apart the more work comes up, but it will be very satisfying to get it back in road worthy condition 😀👍

Hi, most likely the 4th gear lost a few teeth and need to be replaced but that would mean opening up the bottom side of the engine 😩
5:48 it's bad luck working on a Honda wearing a Ducati shirt :))
LOLOLOLOL, that is to remind myself how much easier and user friendly the Honda is to work on compared to a Ducati 🤣🤣🤣👍
Nice job Albe always like how you keep these vids real not starting with a pukka bike before you strip it. Going to be interesting this one. 👍🏻
Thanks Pebbles, I appreciate the recognition 👍

I'm finding out, seams like it's either a 12mm or a 14mm 🤣🤣
Would be nice to see if you do things I may need to do on my 954
Hi, Do you have anything specific in mind
$700 for registration?? That's freaking nuts!!
7 years of unpaid registrations plus penalties, next year is back to normal
My life is worth more than $3500, so that’s why the 2021-RRR-SP is in the garage!!!! Absolutely Sublime!!! Rather be riding than wrenching!!! Motorcycling is about safety first, always value your life/family, never ride inferior motorcycles.
Lighter, more nimble, easier to live with, learn more about bikes not just your wallet 👍
I'm more about having really good tyers and brakes so what's your point?
