This one is a test for anyone who's ever commented "I could listen to you talk about anything"
i genuinely dislike vegas on a deep level (i know it has plenty of good; just mean as a whole in my personal experience), so this will be my greatest trial
I don't plan on going anytime soon but I sure did watch 30 minutes of it already
Can’t wait for your new travel channel! ☺️
If this became your most viewed video 😂
i would have REALLY preferred 55 minutes on barcelona, a city truly worthy of this kind of love
From worm videos to this. I’ll be darned if he doesn’t have range.
Go back to the kitchen scrub.
Damn ur an Internet Shaquille fan as well
He does mention a can of worms at 2:57
Wanted to say I spent the last 4 days in Vegas and this guide ruled. Stayed at the Vdara, ate at Lotus of Siam + Golden Tiki, didn't lose all my money. Thanks for all the advice!
love that 4 u king
Omg it’s Jacob geller
I plan on never going to Vegas ever, it sounds like the closest version of my own personal hell on earth possible, and yet I still watched every minute of this video attentively, taking mental notes. Not sure why but good job.
Same.
When in Vegas 🤷
I've had family here for decades and we've always avoided the city center unless there was a good buffet deal. All the good buffets have disappeared over the past few years, so I've stayed away completely.
I don't really like gambling but there was some great food when you got away from the Strip and Red Rock Canyon is cool.
Wow, I'm exactly the same. This helped explain the appeal of vegas to me
OMG! Congratulations on the baby, Bree and Shaq! 😍 47:41
Baby Shaq/Shaqette is so lucky to have you both as parents! ☺️You are going to be amazing!
Had to rewind to make sure I heard that right. Congrats!
babe wake up new shaq just dropped
Bruh I thought he was gay.
Your pacing and content curation made this video rich with information but not excruciatingly long. You're consistently one of the best creators on the platform.
I love his videos
The video is an hour long...
How did you comment 13 days ago when the video is only 3 days old
@@PWIAAA I pay several dollars every month to support his Patreon so I get to see all the videos early
@@Atokad423 oh yeah, didn’t think he’d upload them early here just thought it would be somewhere else
The "I'll scream if you talk to me" trick is actually so smart
I did it again on the last trip and the girls walked away saying “omg literally ME lol”
It’s relatable and effective!
timestamp? I must have missed it :/
@@m15km just around the 50 minute mark when talking about the photo opportunity scams
Congrats on the baby Shaq!! Feel like I’ve followed you around since vine and every life development you make, the parasocial relationship I’ve created with you makes me excited.
Can't believe the Big man is a dad. I've been watching you since highschool, thank you for the lessons you've taught me. Can't imagine what you're going to teach to the little one.
🥲
The fact that whether or not the video is 4 mins or 54 mins the quality does not change is honestly amazing
Explain how internet Shaq who is not a vegas RUclipsr just put out a better, more informative and concise vegas video than any other "vegas youtuber" 😂 well done, chef 👏🏼
My work is sponsoring about 30 early career attendees for our June conference in Vegas, and I'm seriously thinking of including a link to this video in the "Know Before You Go" guide I'm creating, maybe with timestamps to the most relavent topics for them. Extremely well done and comprehensive, thanks for all the effort you put in!!
As someone with addictive tendencies, time blindness, and poor money sense, gambling (and probably by extension Vegas, since it is the lion's den of that particular form of manipulation) is a not-even-once kind of situation for me. Like smoking, it seems like a very easy way to risk ruining your life. If I need that flavor of excitement I'll stop wearing my seat belt in the car.
That said, I enjoyed this guide a great deal and learned a lot about traveling in general. Once again, netshaq has produced content with an extreme emphasis on practicality that I have thoroughly enjoyed despite having little to no practical use for it.
I am glad you did mention Area 15 and OmegaMart which are probably my favorite experiences to be found in Vegas. Personally for me I would also love to add on top of those the underrated museums of the area. The Atomic Museum and the Mob Museum are fantastic places to visit. The Pinball Hall of Fame is also really fun. And if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle the Springs Reserve/Nevada State Museum and of course Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, Lake Mead, etc. There is a lot to do out there that isn't based around drinking, eating, gambling, showboating, or uh...fornicating lol
Red Rock is stunning. Sadly, I'd say a car is kind of needed since it can be a lot of driving.
My girlfriend and I haven't traveled in years and have a trip to Vegas coming up in 3 weeks. We've been so stressed trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. This could not have come at a better time for us. Thank you so much for this and everything you put out. This was such a happy coincidence for us.
My pro tip is if you're not from the Southwest it may be worth renting a car one day and driving out to see some nature, especially mid trip for a break from the lights and drinking. Really enjoyed visiting Red Rock Canyon on my trip
As a Vegas local for 28 years, I'm excited to hear your thoughts. Much appreciation for your high-quality videos all the same.
Wow...the opening of this video is me ! I basically hate travel too and yet I LOVE going to Las Vegas. I don't know why but it's different than any other place I've been. I've been on vacation there more times than anywhere else I've been. I keep going back for some reason. Even though it seems like a high energy place, it can have a very relaxed vibe. There's lots of opportunities to do things, and everything's in easy access, but there's no pressure to really DO anything. I also love Red Rocks too, and the contrast between the city and the wild desert, and the fact that the city ends so abruptly and the rural desert is right there. I could go on and on. The only thing that sucks about Vegas is that it's an ecological disaster. But otherwise I love it.
Vegas is for synthesized relaxation. I can't imagine how you prefer such a fake, forced experience over the joy of travel that brings unique experiences and stories.
I love Vegas too, it is always changing and there's something for pretty much everyone. I've grown to love it for family trips but about to go with just a ladies trip soon, really let loose! Do have a favorite pool? I'm looking at Encore Beach Club, for the music
@@SQERDOMOONLIGHT Easy. Don't take life seriously and enjoy the synthesized relaxation once in a while.
Let me tell you about the whiplash I felt after just instinctively clicking on a new shaq video, watching about 10 minutes and thinking "hmm this video is actually pretty long!", and then pausing only to see the full video was about AN HOUR lmao
You know, I didn't expect a reveal about a pregnancy 45 minutes into a video guide about Las Vegas, but here we are. Congrats you guys!
The writing, the flow, the surprise
Your channel has set the standard for fast-paced yet digestible and informative videos
to be honest the local bit about the people not going to eat on the strip really resonated. As someone who lived in NOLA for a few years whenever anyone asked me where to eat in the french quarter I genuinely didnt have any recommendations because there's a lot of great food outside the quarter at like 3/4 the price and probably half the health violations, so real shit mr shaq. (also great vid ily parasocial papi)
One thing he didn't cover in gambling: Poker. You can play for an extremely long time and break even and the social scene at tables are typically very fun. I've spent 3-6 hours at tables chatting with the same people and no matter the outcome it was already very fun.
This is such a brilliant way of making an excellent vacation guide while also making your vacation a tax write off.
I see what you're doing Shaq and I love it
CONGRATULATIONS DADDY SHAQ!!!
An hour of Shaq talking about Vegas? We're eatin good today, boys.
Looks like meat is back on the menu boys!
Love this. Always the best videos from you. I hardly felt the length of the longer format, as engaging as always.
My coworkers are all going to Vegas and I kinda regret not going. Used to not think it’d be my thing but I think it sounds like a good place to let loose and embrace consumerism for a little bit. Hopefully next year!!
There’s hiking at Red Rock and cool museums
Congrats on the baby Shaq!
Also long form content from you is exactly what we needed. 👏
This was one of my favorite videos you've done. It was great!
Cannot wait to watch this jawn from start to finish. Thank you Shaq 🙏🏽🙏🏽
so interesting shaq, thank you 🙏
Dope video! Always appreciate hearing your collected thoughts on any subject
Almost an hour of Internet Shaquille... I didn't know there were videos on this website that could be this long
My favorite RUclips video is a 12-hour retrospective on The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Oh my sweet child. Video essayist or everywhere on youtube and they are wonderful. I watched a 5 hour video on Doctor Who a few months ago lol
Quinton Reviews has I think a 10 hr retrospective on the Nickelodeon show, Victorious. This is light work.
MORE OF THIS!!! I'M LOVING IT!!!!
Thanks man! Love your content as always.
Amazing content. I’ve been watching Vegas videos on a binge since going in March and this is one of the best I’ve seen. I love your pacing and humor. Thanks for making it
Dude. Amazing video. I can't even begin to explain how useful the information you've presented here is.
I wish this video came out sooner. This may be some of your best work. You truly understand the joy of Vegas from Fear and Loathing to Leaving Las Vegas.
Wonderful timing on this video!
I love the way you think and explain
One of the better videos you've made recently. Super entertaining, I've watched the whole video in one sitting, your energy does help me focus on these longer formats.
Somehow a hour long Shaq video is still as short, concise and packed with information as a five minute video. Congratulations Papi 💕
Can't give enough praise to you for your storytelling. As someone who also lives in the valley and enjoys a trip to Vegas, this video was a treat!
I am going to Vegas in August and this is a gem that I needed, thanks g ❤
Love all your content but the travel guide is over the top and great, thanks!
Literally watched the whole thing. Thamks for these videos, seriously upload any helpful information or entertainment you want, you legend 🔥
The quality of your content is so underrated. I love your take/perspective on things. Keep going man!
i’ve genuinely never had any interest in visiting las vegas but this video is selling me. thank u mastermind travel agent internet shaquille
Awesome!!!! Great video
Congrats for your new Surprise!
I hope you make more longer form vidoes like this, I've always respected your opinion and seeing more of you is absolutely fantistic.
I wish you both all the best! I'm happy for you! :)
Congrats on the baby Shaq!!! Hope everything goes well for you and your wife!
Thank you for your service Shaq!!!
Hooray! This was incredible! I also love seeing Travel Ruby featured in here. I’ve been watching her a lot and her Vegas content is delightful and informative.
Also super excited about the abbreviated netshaq cigar guide. A full cigar video would be super fun
My wife and I were going to do an anniversary trip to Vegas just before the pandemic hit and haven't thought much about it, but this video was such a joy. IShaq once again thank you for a meaty video full of valuable honest information (and kudos to how you addressing gambling.) Can't wait to visit and use some of this info! Mazel tov on the baby!
This video comes just in time, before I head to Vegas for my birthday. Thank you, my favorite food-youtuber!
Dude this video is almost an hour but felt like 30 mins. Straight to the point, no bullshit. Awesome stuff mate, keep it up!
Congrats to you two! I live in Vegas and this will be on my recommended viewing list for my friends and fam coming to visit. We'll done 👍🏻
As someone who literally just got back from Vegas for the first time (Wynn, loved it!) this past week, can't wait to sit down and watch this.
Nice guide. I'm going to Vegas for a con in the summer so I might use some of this advice for the additional days I'm taking.
Also, Congrats on the baby. I'm positive it'll be the most exciting time and the hardest time in your life.
Ive never really wanted to go to las vegas, even and a city-lover, but you totally convinced me!
We are in Vegas right now after using this video as our planning guide, and I just have to say that this is an awesome guide. The dinner at Best Friend was seriously amazing to boot!
This video was so detailed and I especially loved the points about not skipping the trial/exploration phase of traveling!
That being said, the absolute highlight of my most recent Vegas trip (also in February, best time to go hell yeah) was accidentally finding The Barbershop at The Cosmo and walking in to a full blown concert. After a weekend of drinking and partying like crazy, we were all too tired/hungover to drink or club anymore. This was the perfect cap to our weekend and I’ll recommend it for as long as the venue continues to exist!
This is an amazing travel guide, because it has covered two things I want covered in a travel guide. How to travel somewhere, and if I even want to. I now know how exactly to travel to las Vegas, and the knowledge that its simply not for me. Thanks!
huge congrats on the baby y'all!!! and awesome video even though i presumed i would be a hater of vegas but this might change my mind
I'm not sure I'll ever go to Vegas any time soon but just listening to Shaq go so in-depth on a guide to a fun trip is wonderful to watch. Would love to see more of these on different countries.
Best guide, I've been to Vegas so many times and a lot of these things are true. I will definitely be sending this to whoever is going for the first time
this is a masterpiece of a video. And as a former Vegas resident, very nostalgic 🙂
I've always loved that Vegas is an insider's city. If you know what you're doing, you'll never get tired of visiting! It's a uniquely American city with contagious, exhilarating energy. Great video Shaq!
I lived in Vegas for four months while doing a show and this video was absolutely spot on. Was nice to see places I enjoyed get mentioned (shout out Esther’s, Golden Tiki and Ellis Island) but I also learned heaps. Genuinely helpful, never preachy or judgemental… you rock dude, congrats on the pregnancy.
Feeding the algorithm gods. Bless you Shaq. I have no desire to go back to Vegas since I want to explore more outside America Canada and Mexico- but I still watched this whole video. Bless you
I'm deadset against visiting Vegas but this entire video was a joy to watch because of your style and personality. Time well spent! Thanks for this!
I ate at Lotus of Siam about 13 years ago on my first trip to Vegas. Totally forgot about how good that place was. Thanks for unlocking that memory for me!
watched entire thing in one sitting. not a single dull moment.
Congratulations to both of you!
20 Vegas trips under my belt from Canada. The last 14 coming in the last 12 months. Jesus Christ this whole video from start to finish was 100% accurate! Great video man!
Solid video. Thanks
Going to Vegas for a work trip in May! What great timing
Congrats to you and Bree on the baby! Baby Shaq's gonna be eating good growing up!
I'm literally in Las Vegas as this video came out. More long form videos! This was great
AHHHHH Congrats to the both of you!
Man I went to Vegas a couple months after you posted this and yet I am only now seeing it. Watching this video was like playing Vegas bingo to see how many places I went to on your list. The one that got me most excited to see was Nacho Daddy! They had no right being so delicious the morning me and my family went there for breakfast, they were not busy at all, and all of the staff was so freaking nice.
Congrats on the impending new baby! Thanks for the videos :)
This is literally your best video ever
I’m 13min in don’t plan on ever going to Vegas soon. So much info without feeling like I’m being talked at. Great vid
Congrats you two
Love the rain bolt reference. Nice.
Congratulations!
Really could listen to you talk about anything I guess because I have no plans to goto Vegas anytime soon and watched the whole thingq
Awesome video!
I havent been to vegas since my 21st birthday. Awesome advice
I have been to vegas once and don't really plan to return any time soon. Somehow I still watched the whole video, you just can't miss
ive been once and that was enough, still enjoyed the tips
Congratulations on parenthood! That’s so exciting for you both. Thanks for the thorough guide!
i don't live in america and i don't think I'l ever go to vegas but i syill watched this whole video in one go
I could listen to you talking about anything for any amount of time
10/10 vid
Didn't expect it from Internet Shaquille, but this is exactly what I'm looking for!
Wonderful job. I like all your content. Cheers.
I never thought I'd see an hour long Int Shaq video but i'm all for it
I love that you gave The Peppermill a shoutout. My favorite place in Vegas!
