As someone who lives in vegas, nothing hurts more than going somewhere else, paying the same price and getting a less experience. I just have to frame the location to the experience "ok so this is the best place in Austin for brunch, ok then."

Honestly, all the price inflation across the country makes me love NYC more. All the food, prices are the same or lower for local NYC food than Austin or SF or Seattle or Vegas or whatever. NYC is easier to navigate as a traveler (cheap subway, no uber fares, no rental car, 3 area airports) and it's surprising value for free stuff and cheap food.

My biggest pet peeve is when the people you go to Vegas with aren’t ready for the “Vegas experience” e.g. they are afraid of spending money on gambling/food/experiences, aren’t prepared to walk, etc. I’ll never be a club guy so I like to spend my time at the tables. Nothing like it where I’m from. Hope to see more Vegas content although I know that’s probably gonna be limited in future.

Lol was just in Vegas, in the neighboring MGM hotel. Go figure! Check out TON TON KATSUYA (off strip) if you have time. Some of the best fucking Katsu on the planet. Highly recommend. Show up right at opening or else you'll wait outside in the 110 degree heat for like an hour
