- Arriving at Leeds kirkgate market Leeds city centre with began filming and live free was using the megaphone.
within minutes of being at the location security approached and told us to leave and said that we were not allowed to be there.
I corrected this security officer stating that under the criminal justice Act 1972 section 33 we were allowed to be there and do as what we were.

I will also add that no criminal complaint were made by myself nor Live Free
Another great example of how the lesson and the law have not been trained into these goons. Brilliant work by you and Live Free, as per usual. The underbelly of these large companies is quite disturbing.
The underbelly is the most vulnerable part and, perhaps, the main reason these firms have their contracts terminated prematurely..

Cracking video Marti, I have to ask the burning question, Who are the Police working for? I noticed the female police constable, went over, and was talking to the Security Guards and was advising them, now in my book that would look like she was siding with them. I noticed or it was not in the video that she did not come over to you guys and tell you what she had advised them. Just an observation.
Kingdom Security had a contact with Plymouth City Council. They lasted four months before PCC terminated the contract.

There’s one fella on there who stayed cool, calm & collected and showed some class. The lad working for the council who just asked what the video was about, knew Marti & team were not doing anything illegal, stood back and let things run there course. He didn’t get involved after asking because he knew the script.
The council need to be looking at giving him future promotions, obviously a man he can handle situations.

Security just don't seem to understand they have zero power in detaining or touching any member of public ONLY the police do and even then if they suspect a person has committed a crime otherwise they themselves can be prosecuted for assault (cases have popped up where police have actually been done which is a shocker!).
Security jobs are unfortunately taken by people who don't tend to be all that bright.
