A Rockford, IL stabbing attack left at least four people dead and five injured Wednesday in the Winnebago County city, authorities said.

This is a very sad event.
I've been into martial arts and combatives since I was a boy. Learning adequate reality-based knife defense isn't an easy skill to develop. The blade is seriously dangerous and arts such as Kali-Silat, Sayoc Kali, Balintawak, and Mande Muda Silat have exceptional blade vs blade, blade vs empty hands training methods. I'm suggesting to have some level of training. You may never know it could help save your life but there are no guarantees in real life.

We need to ban knives! Im petitioning the government to abolish all knives and cutlery, especially assault knives. Only those whom are over the age of 18, pass a background check and take a training course will be allowed to use a butter knife provided they are supervised. Ban knives now and save lives!
